Geweldige ervaring met Etna Bike Tours. In het drukke fietsseizoen (najaar) op Sicilië ben ik erin geslaagd om een racefiets te huren bij Etna Bike Tours. Er stond nog een Giant TCR voor me klaar om de Etna te beklimmen.

De service is uitstekend (door Claudio) en de prijs scherp: € 39 voor een dag.

Ik heb mijn droom kunnen realiseren om de Etna te beklimmen en ben daarmee erg blij. Nogmaals dank voor de service en hulp.

The whole experience with Etna bike tours was just amazing. The bikes were in fine conditions, the communication was very good (even in english which is not common on sicily) and the price was very fair. Absplut recommendation!
We rented two Hardtail Mountainbikes for 3 days and can recommend that to everyone who likes to test boundaries with going up the Etna 😉!

Beautiful quality bikes and excellent service. Maurizio and his team are truly amazing and have created a fantastic cycling community with a great atmosphere. Picking up and returning the bikes went smoothly and flexibly.

Faccio una recensione per il comportamento poco chiaro e furbo di questo noleggio. Era il secondo noleggio che facevamo presso questa struttura. Avevamo preso il noleggio di tre e-bike per una giornata intera, al costo di 49€. Non essendo dei neofiti, volevamo fare senza guida, come la prima volta, che era andata abbastanza bene. L'unica cosa che ci serviva era il GPS, che ti danno con un costo irrisorio. Il tipo che c'era nel noleggio ci dice; "C'è la guida che sta partendo con un gruppetto, vi volete accodare?". Noi, perché no? Ma in tutto ciò non ci ha detto che ci faceva pagare 90€ in più per accordarci, che, detta tra noi, andavamo per i fatti nostri, perché mentre facevamo il giro, era identico al primo che avevamo fatto tempo fa. Per concludere, ci ha messo un rincaro di 90€ in più, senza aver chiesto noi la guida, ma proposto da loro e senza averci detto... "Vi volete accordare con un costo di 30€ a persona in più?", e noi avremmo deciso cosa fare.
Ovviamente all ragazzo lo abbiamo fatto presente nel pagare, ma lui orecchie da mercante.
Grazie mille per l'in...a
90€ incassati ma altrettanto persi
Ps: questo lo pensano soprattutto gli stranieri che gli italiani siamo dei farabutti.

Wij hebben gekozen om zelf 2 XC cross country e mountainbikes te huren. De prijs was echt bizar goed. 45 euro per fiets voor een dag van 09:00 tot 17:00.

Het personeel was vriendelijk en liet een kaartje achter voor het geval je hulp nodig zou hebben.

Zeker aan te raden, wij hebben dan wel geen tour genomen maar toch genoten van de service.

Fantastische ervaring! Een activiteit die we kunnen aanraden om met tieners te doen. Afwisselend en soms uitdagend parcours, maar des te leuker en zeker haalbaar. Degelijke e-bikes en gps, dus zeker ook te doen zonder gids. Prachtige omgeving.

Great experience. Got a guided road bike tour up the mountain. They were very well organized and friendly. Greta was an excellent guide - very patient with an old, slow guy!. Decent bike. Only quibble is that the bike had a semi-compact chainring and a not- very- easy cassette; they should get a little easier gearing for regular people doing that climb

Sehr freundliches Team, traumhafte Tour: discovery Etnea by ebike. Wunderbare Wege durch lichte Eichen-und Kiefernwald. Über Lavafelder, die zum Teil von der Natur zurückerobert werden. Mittagsstopp in einem netten Rifugio. Manuela und Rebeka waren sehr kompetent und führten uns sicher und verständnisvoll über so manche schwierige Passage. Dabei erklärten sie uns die Natur und die Geschichte der jeweiligen Ausbrüche.

We took the self-guided Giro dell’Etna e-bike tour, and it was fantastic. The landscape was absolutely stunning, shifting from volcanic terrain to lush forest. Experiencing the tour in the fall was especially beautiful, with the trees displaying vibrant autumn colors.

The communication with the team was seamless, and the bikes were well-maintained, enhancing our experience. Overall, the service was excellent—highly recommended!

Advice: bring warm clothes even if it sunny - with the high-altitude and the downhills it will be needed.

Excellent service. Quality, maintained bikes. A warning: it's hot and it's steep, even the 2/5 difficulty 35km ride. Take an ebike. I didn't. My bad. I think it's time well spent. Half lunar landscape, half Mediterranean forest. Nice!

Fantastic 'discover Etna' tour today, thanks Maurizio for picking me up at my hotel and Theresa for guiding this very friendly international small group through the beautiful forests and lava fields above Milo. My giant eMTB with full suspension and tunable saddle height was also perfect. Hope I have an opportunity to come back and try the other guided rides.

Etna bike tours fue la elección perfecta para nosotros. Viajamos 12 personas para hacer 6 días de bici por Sicilia desde El Etna hasta Portopalo. Las bicis de muy buena calidad, los hoteles cómodos y bien seleccionados. Las cenas en los hoteles muy bien tambien. Maurizio muy profesional y atento a nuestras peticiones siempre. En definitiva muy recomendable. Estamos pensando en repetir con Etna bike tours el año q viene!.

Such an incredible day! Highly recommend!

We took the 3-4 hour (35km) tour up and down some of Mount Etna. The bikes were great, we stopped and enjoyed an ice cold lemon soda at the half way refuge point and then flew down the roads coming back. Watch out for those pesky pine cones in the forest!

The staff member that helped us set up our bikes, GPS etc was lovely and really helpful. Before we got there he was super helpful over WhatsApp to help us decide which route to take. He even lent us a jacket in case we were cold on our decent.

Would recommend the route if you’re up for a bit of a challenge - but it wasn’t too difficult. My partner had never mountain biked before and although some bits were hard work she was fine and loved it!

Etna Bike hat's zum perfekten MTB Urlaub für mich und meinen Sohn gemacht !!! Wir hatten durch Etna Bike (Irene, Maurizio etc.) eine super Vorbereitung, Briefing Unterlage, GPX Dateien alles kam rechtzeitig vor dem Urlaub per Mail. Am Flughafen abgeholt, Bikes erklärt bekommen, tolle Unterkünfte mit tollen Gastgebern gehabt. Rund um Perfekt. Sogar etwas Aufregung kam mit rein in die Tour als irgendwo im nirgends die Kette riss und EtnaBike sofort ein Ersatzfahrrad zum Rescue Point geschickt hat.... der Rescue Point war dann halt >10km entfernt aber gemeinsam mit EtnaBike, Humor, und italienischer Gelassenheit haben wir alles geschafft, nichts aufgegeben alle Strecken und mehr gefahren. Aber, niemals würde ich die gleiche Tour ohne Akku machen, das hätte ich nicht geschafft. Wir hatten Steigungen von 22%, wir haben den Akku in 20km um 70% entladen ... die restlichen 50km haben wir dann mit 30% Akku dennoch gut geschafft. Spitzengeschwindigkeiten von 66km/h erlebt (bergab), Muskelkater erlebt etc... also alles PERFEKT !!!

My wife and I had the pleasure of Mauritzio’s guidance for our ebike ride up Mount Etna today and it was fantastic.
He is great company, very knowledgable of the area and guided us up to the observatory and then back down through lavas flows and pine forests.
An epic day out and highly recommended.
