My review is only for my rental experience and not the shop itself (the shop I think might be quite nice and looks like they have some good equipment there).
My rental experience however was unfortunately not the best. I arranged the rental for a road bike 2 days before (which ofc. is nice to have is so spontaneous, even though it was low season). When I arrived at the shop the bike was not even prepared - which did not surprise me much as I have been working in Sicily for over 10y :D (don't get me wrong, I love Sicily with all my heart). Guy at the counter did not seem to be very motivated but eventually got it ready for me. Bicycle seemed to be ok, an older Pinarello with rim brakes.
I cycled 25km up Mt.Etna and 1km from the top the whole gear shifter ripped apart from one moment to the other. I did not even put much force on it but was going in the lowest gear. The derailleur hanger/bolt and the two pulleys broke. I had no other option than to slowly roll down the mountain again with a chain that almost touched the ground.
Back at the shop I explained everything and then they wanted to charge 100€ for a new gear shifter set. I mean I'm happy to pay if I would have done some damage by mishandling or had an accident etc. They told me "in the morning everything was ok and now it's not anymore". Yes correct, but look at the photos - especially the one from the cage plate - and don't tell me this can happen after 25km of cycling. Also they told me that they do lots of maintenance on the bicyle - maintenance that I did not notice - the chain was the greasiest ever. Something nobody would want to ride :D
We did not argue much as I was not in the mood for it, eventually just paid and left the shop. If you want to rent go to SicilyCyclingClub around the corner - their bikes are top and also their mechanic is!!

Fantastic service! I came January and they had a pinarello for me for a low price to rent. They helped a lot with everything and are very sympathetic. Top service and good price. Will absolutely come again!

Ho scoperto questo negozio prima su internet e poi fisicamente un sabato pomeriggio. Esperienza più che positiva, i ragazzi che gestiscono questo negozio oltre ad essere gentilissimi mi hanno aiutato a scegliere la bici più adatta alle mie esigenze (SCOTT ASPECT 970) e, non avendola disponibile il sabato stesso, mi hanno rimandato a lunedì pomeriggio facendomi trovare la bici con gli accessori richiesti già perfettamente montati e anche dei graditi omaggi oltre ad avermi gentilmente aiutato a caricarla in auto (cosa di certo non dovuta ma molto molto apprezzata). Consigliato vivamente a tutti gli appassionati e non.

Hervorragender Fahrradladen mit Spezialisierung auf Rennrad. Das Geschäft, welches von zwei sehr netten und kompetenten Brüdern geführt wird, war für mich eine ideale Anlaufstelle zur Anschaffung neuer Radklamotten. Beste Beratung auch in Englisch und großes Entgegenkommen und Hilfe auch bei meinem Fahrrad, für welches ich eine Verpackung für das Sportgepäck zum Rückflug brauchte. Kann ich nur weiterempfehlen! Danke euch beiden!

Purtroppo la mia esperienza in questo rivenditore Scott è stata assolutamente negativa. Ho chiesto assistenza in garanzia per un dispositivo (PM Quarq) montato su una Scott Scale e la risposta che mi è stata data con arrogante aria disinteressata (neanche mi guardava quando parlavo) è stata di andare dove ho comprato la bici (a migliaia di Km !?) e che “non erano in grado di gestire la pratica (!?)”. Niente!!…nessuna flessione alla mia richiesta del diritto, scritto anche sul sito Scott, di potere fare riferimento al rivenditore di zona Scott. Se fattibile scalerò il problema alla casa madre…giusto perché sappiano che chi compra si aspettano “anche” un servizio adeguato post vendita da TUTTI i rivenditori
AGGIUNGO QUESTE POCHE RIGHE DOPO LA VS RISPOSTA ALLA MIA RECENSIONE …che c’era da aspettarsi che avreste voluto salvare la faccia dichiarando che non avrei voluto sostenere costi di gestione. Falso!! Falsissimo!!Vi ho chiesto di quantificare le spese che avrei dovuto sostenere

I brought my bike to Sicily but found out my Di2 battery died. Went on a Saturday to the only shop around open. After trying to charge it we figured out (with much hand gestures and google translate) I accidentally broke the internal power cable which was then repaired quickly and professionally. What a service! Within the hour my bike was fixed and I could ride the island. Thanks so much for the great and immediate service. Six stars if I could!

Salvatore di nome e di fatto! Nel corso del Sicily Divide (giro tosto ma che raccomando) mi ha portato in Hotel copertone e camere d'aria. Il giorno successivo altro guaio ed è venuto a prendermi per strada, ha portato bici in officina (piccola ma fornitissima!) riparato il problema, fatto check su freni e catena e voleva solo il costo di altre camere d'aria di scorta. Professionale, disponibile, competente e prezzi superonesti. Ce ne fossero di più di meccanici (e persone) così.

They are really helfpul and very nice! When I first came with smaller issues they fixed them really quick for free. I came back with what turned out to be a larger problem. They immediately changed the part and gave the rest of the bike a quick check as well. The service was cheap as well and they were really careful with the bike.

Bicitech non è un nome ma una garanzia.
Negozio di ciclismo molto fornito e ben curato,con gestori dalla grande passione e altissima competenza che sanno consigliarti al meglio per qualunque esigenza.
Anche luogo di ritrovo per gli appassionati di ciclismo.
Ho sempre fatto ottimi acquisti in negozio, in particolare, la mia bellissima bici da corsa Pinarello prince color pink che mi sta dando moltissime soddisfazioni.
Ringrazio lo staff per la vendita del prodotto dopo un'attenta e precisa biomeccanica con la quale ho acquisito la posizione ideale durante la pedalata.

This bike shop saved us. We had to repair our road bikes of two during our bike tour. The mechanic & owner impressed us by his professional, skillful, swift, immediate, and inexpensive service.

He removed a metal hook that got stuck in the rear wheel and adjusted derailleurs. For another one, he repaired the nut of a bike brake pad and adjusted derailleurs. It cost EUR 10. Next day we visited again for another issue. He tried to help us as much as possible.

I attempted to contact Bicitech via WhatsApp for help with preparing a tandem for shipping to the UK. I know that they received and read my messages, but I never even had the courtesy of a reply. A simple "No, sorry, we can't help" would have sufficed. Rude and unhelpful.

What a helpful place! We arrived with broken spokes and they helped us immediately and even fixed a wobbly gear hub which was an issue for weeks for no charge. They guys are great, best bike store ever.

Rented three carbon road bikes for riding up Etna. Bikes were light, high quality (a few years old Pinarello Dogmas) with high end compact groupsets. Organised by email and collected the evening before. Recommended.
