I rented an e-bike from this shop to travel around with my toddler for a day. They were able to offer a child carrier attachment which was perfect - we had a smashing time, although beware of the hilly roads in Tuscany! The owner was so generous, patient and accommodating to my last minute requests, going above and beyond for such a small amount of business. Look forward to hiring again from Bikemeup next time we are in the area.

Maurizio (and his son) provided our group with an incredible biking experience! He was patient and supportive for the different levels of bikers in our group and took us on the most incredible tour of the San Gimignano area which also included an amazing lunch. I would highly recommend this experience for anyone who wishes to view this area by bike! Thank you to Maurizio and his son for an unforgettable day!

Die Fahrradtour war wunderschön und rundum gelungen. Man wird an Orte gebracht die man von selbst nie entdecken würde und bekommt auch an Monumenten die Historie erzählt. Wie hatten ein guten Mix zwischen schnellen Straßen und off-road Abschnitten. Während der Tour haben wir mittags ein Stop gemacht mit Wein und Tagliere Toscano. Dieser wurde vom Guide organisiert. Besonders hervorzuheben ist der Lieferserivce der Fahrräder wodurch wir Tour direkt vom Ferienhaus aus starten und beenden konnten.

So grateful to Maurizio and Fabrizio for their incredible service and attention! They helped me choose the perfect routes for my ebike adventures, were extremely responsive to my emails and texts figuring out the details, and as I was biking alone, I really felt they were there for me if a problem was to arise. Thanks for making these day trips the highlight of my 6 week stay in Europe! PS the bike was also superb!

Esperienza magica. La guida, Maurizio, ci ha portati in questo viaggio meraviglioso attraverso le colline di San Gimignano, avendo cura di raccontarci il paesaggio, i luoghi e le tradizioni dei posti. Il tutto è stato accompagnato da un pranzo a Certaldo dove abbiamo potuto assaggiare cibi tipici, tra cui la famosa cipolla di Certaldo.
Se cercate un’esperienza autentica, divertente, e poco faticosa (bici con pedalata assistita) dovete assolutamente rivolgervi a loro!!! Ci tornerò sicuramente!

Our e-bike rental was a key highlight of our Tuscany experience. Service was incredible, punctual and detailed. Communication was excellent and having the bikes to roam and explore made our experience 10/10.

Wir haben uns am Mittwoch spontan ein E-Bike ausgeliehen und eine sehr kompetente Beratung genossen. Der sehr freundliche!! Mitarbeiter ist auf jegliche Wünsche eingegangen und hat uns sogar bei dem heißen Wetter mit Wasser ausgestattet. Uns wurden neben Werkzeug, einer kleinen Luftpumpe und Fahrradschloss auch ein Waschraum zur Verfügung gestellt. Auch unser Auto konnten wir kostenlos vor der Halle abstellen.
Fahrräder sind top gewartet und gut ausgestattet. Wir waren sehr zufrieden und bedanken uns nochmals für den tollen Service!

We rented two e-bikes for a day and had them delivered to our accommodation. Prices are very fair and communication as well as service excellent! Bikes have been delivered at the agreed time and we were even offered to keep them until the next morning although we only paid for a day. We will definitely book with Fabrizio and his team again!

Maurizio the owner of BikeMeUp is an example of what makes Italian people so wonderful…. His service and his bikes are impeccable … i rented a bike for a two week stay in Certaldo and yesterday on my home from an extended ride my chain came off the derailer and jammed… impossible to fix… i texted Maurizio and pinned him my location , and literally within less than 30 minutes he appeared with his service van and a new bike and i was back on my way..thanks Maurizio!!!

If you make sure the ride includes a part of the Via Francigena hiking trail, you are sure to have fun and have stunning views.
