Los precios algo elevados pero dentro de lo normal para una bicicleteria en Italia. MUST SEE for anyone into cycling history, single speed culture, or just bikes in general. We were just looking for a tyre and this was the closest shop to our place. Incredible range of classic avante garde frames, wild 80s / 90s geometry. Absolutely amazing place that felt more like the best museum of cycling tour you could imagine, but was actually a bona fide shop. I gather from the other reviews that the owner's name is Lorenzo - he was super accommodating for us. Offered to mount the tyre right there and then, which gave us a nice chance to gawk at the gorgeous frames, bikes and memorabilia. I've added some pics but they don't nearly do the place justice. I would go back to Florence for the sole purpose of spending a few hours in this shop. Thank you!

I can wholeheartedly recommend Lorenzo at Filofficina. The shop is a thing of beauty with a really breath taking selection of vintage steel bikes. The bike are all expertly prepared and presented, which if you see the shop is easy to understand as Lorenzo obviously takes a great deal of pride in his work. If you are looking for a first vintage bike with history that you can take to L’Eroica with pride or just enjoy in the Sun then Filofficina deserves a thorough look. The shop, the bikes and Lorenzo’s helpful and friendly approach make for a truly great experience.

Ein tolle, kleine Fahrradwerkstatt mit einer doch großen Auswahl an alten, italienischen Rennrädern aus den 1970—1990 Jahren. Schön restauriert (wenn nötig, auch neu lackiert), mit original Besatz und viel Liebe für's Detail. Im hinteren Bereich hängen viele schöne alte Rahmen, die quasi noch darauf warten, vom Laden-Besitzer aufbereitet zu werden. Dieser verfügt über ein scheinbar unbegrenztes Fachwissen und teilt dieses sehr gerne.

Fantastic bike shop, Lorenzo is a legend! Knows just about everything about vintage bikes and vintage components - and how to make them work together. He found me a beautiful steel Morello from the late seventies and sourced matching components to suit my riding position. I got to try a few different options in terms of gearing and am extremely happy with the outcome. Lots of locals drop off their bikes at his shop for repairs too, which is always a good sign. Highly recommended!

Brought a NOS bianchi mega pro. Better than the pictures that Lorenzo had done online. Was on holiday and well it is one of my dream bikes. Shipping and VAT export sorted no issues. If you are a fan of cycling and in Florence on holiday you must pop in! The photos don't do justice.

Our trip from India to Florence would not have been complete without a visit to Filofficina bike rental and Italian Steel Bike shop. The collection of bikes is a living dream for any vintage bike lover. Have a look at the Colnago in Sarroni red with the 50th Anniversary Campagnolo groupset, the Bianchi and several other great vintage steel steeds. I also wanted to source some spares for my own vintage and each part was meticulously collected for me with due care. A wonderful experience. Ho conosciuto questa officina per caso, e in vetrina esponeva una bici Gravel nera con telaio in acciaio e trasmissione campagnolo, Lorenzo è stato molto disponibile spiegandomi tutto, dopo la prova ho deciso che sarebbe diventata la mia nuova bici, che dire? Gabriele e Lorenzo sono disponibili, competenti e la loro officina ha biciclette da strada, Gravel vintage turismo etc... Tutti oggetti particolari, difficilmente si trova la quantità e la qualità che hanno in negozio, io sono rimasto molto soddisfatto sia della bici che ho acquistato sia del servizio ricevuto,volendo c'è la possibilità di farsi fare il telaio su misura, scegliere il materiale e la componentistica,in pratica un pezzo unico, se siete in zona fateci comunque un salto anche per curiosità, se invece avete intenzione di comprare una nuova bici andate da Gabriele e Lorenzo !

We planned our trip to Florence around this bicycle rental, because it's cheap parking, had good ratings and is easily accessible. Upon arrival, the place was closed (Thursday July 26, 0830). We waited for 18 mins, and then decided to leave. Not even sure whether the place even exists anymore.

Also tried to call the number that is listed here, but, no one picked up.

Lorenzo è bravo competente e disponibile..in 10 minuti mi ha sostituito un raggio sotto alla ruota dietro e centrata..ruota montata sulla Moser del 1978 scorre dritta perfettamente...consigliatissimo..
