The bike was in excellent condition, and the owner was incredibly helpful, giving me great tips for the best routes and paths to explore in the area. Everything was smooth and professional, yet very welcoming and personal at the same time.

When I returned the bike, I was pleasantly surprised to receive a basil plant along with a pesto recipe as a gift — such a thoughtful and authentic touch that made the whole experience even more memorable.

Ho affittato una gravel per partecipare alla Traversata Ligure partendo dal mare per arrivare all’Antola. Tutto è andato a gonfie vele sia con la bici che con le tempistiche di ritiro e riconsegna della bici! Gentilezza e disponibilità disarmanti da parte di Luca e Laura sia per le chiacchiere condivise che per la meravigliosa piantina di basilico 🌱 grazie di cuore per aver offerto un servizio che mi ha dato la possibilità di partecipare ad un evento che altrimenti avrei dovuto saltare e vivere un’esperienza indimenticabile che altrimenti non avrei vissuto 🙏

Goede fietsverhuur, we hadden niks gereserveerd maar ze hadden toch nog fietsen beschikbaar. Paspoort als borg, is prima. Ze gaven goede uitleg over mogelijke routes. We hebben Boccadassa gedaan wat een hele mooie fietsroute is, en daarna uitkijkpunt Spinata Castelletto. Goed te doen, fietsen onderaan de lift laten staan en voor 2 Eur per persoon met de lift omhoog. Wel cash betalen bij de lift. Geen WiFi betaling.
De fietsen waren van goede kwaliteit en de verhuurder was erg vriendelijk. Ook wij kregen een Basilicum plantje mee om pesto van te maken. Leuke attentie. Kortom een aanrader om hier fietsen te huren.

Finalmente!! … un vero negozio esperto in biciclette come una volta !!! Nel cuore di Genova … ho telefonato a 5 negozi a Genova e finalmente… dopo rifiuti del tipo … abbiamo una lista lunghissima fino a metà Agosto .. telefono a bike Fever e Luca mi dice di andare subito senza problemi… entro e dopo 5 minuti sono già fuori con in mano una bellissima pianta di basilico di Pra … e senza aver speso neanche un euro …. Super onesti!! La ruota davanti aveva solo bisogno di più vigore per essere gonfiata! Grazie per l’onestà e la cortesi 👏🏽🙏🏽😍

Fantastic experience with Luca hiring two gravel bikes to cycle the Cinque Terre. Gear was perfect and his local insights helped us have an amazing 215km trip over 3 days. We had an issue that one of our party had brought he wrong pedals and he was super helpful in getting us sorted with an alternative. Gravel bikes were very good quality and great components. This is one of the last few “real” bike shops remaining! It is an actual family run business. The staff is friendly, competent, knowledgeable…and you get to leave with a basil plant!

I hired a gravel bike and the owner recommended a route to the iconic Passo del Turchino via ‘le Giutte’, which turned out much better than the classic route!

Great e-bike rental experience – with a sweet surprise!

We rented 6 electric bikes for a day and had an amazing experience. The bike was in perfect condition – smooth ride, easy to handle, and great battery life. It made getting around the city fun and effortless.

To my surprise, I also received a small gift: a potted basil plant with a pesto recipe included! Such a thoughtful and unique touch – it really made my day.

Highly recommend this rental service – professional, friendly, and full of little details that show they care about their customers. 🚴‍♂️🌿

Luca and the team at Bike Fever are exceptional. We initially discovered this business through a luggage storage website but then met Luca and I booked a day of cycling with him. It was 10/10!! He not only is the kindest human being you will ever meet, he prioritized safety and took me to a bunch of hidden gems for focaccia and gelato - and even showed me where he grew up. This shop, the bikes and the owners are fantastic. You have to book a tour with him, you won’t regret it! Grazie mille Luca!

This place is a hidden gem with the smoothest transaction. I felt very confident that our bags were in great hands. In addition the owner gave us two basil plants when we left with a pesto recipe. We used the gorgeous basil for the length of our holiday and then donated it when we left to someone in Itri to continue its journey 😂 I also made the pesto from the postcard recipe when I got home to the U.K. which was delicious 😋
