Thanks for your review, even though it includes some false statements.

The bikes you took (cross bikes) are routinely checked and even though they may seem aesthetically questionable, they’re perfectly working for a normal usage.

The bike you reported to have the gearing problem, despite we allowed a full refund even without checking the problem as an exception, was later checked by our technician, and he didn’t find any functional issue, other than just a few aesthetics issues or sounds that may have been brought you thinking the bikes weren’t working properly.

The bikes we provide, as said during the pickup, are not professional or for pro riders, but only for tourists to have a short ride and don’t care about all the tech specs that professional cyclists are used to, the philosophy is have the bikes working rather than aesthetically perfect.

We don’t understand your poor review despite providing you a full refund for a functioning bike, with no questions. As the other bike was working perfectly we couldn’t have the option to refund it only because of your word, as anyone could say anything to have money back, so that’s why we usually check with our technician before providing a refund.

Our current electric bike fleet is new, which was the one that we suggested in the first place, then we offer the other options for those who want to pay less.

We did all our best to assist you and despite the bike you reported not working was working perfectly (maybe not on your professional rider mindset) we issued a refund, and the other bike that you said not working too, was also checked and turned to be working.

Unfortunately today people have high expectations, but seen the pricing we apply (around 3,5€ per hour, the rate you paid for the full day) we think this is what we can provide.

If you want to get better bikes, you’ll pay much more for professional bikes, but as we said, this is not our main focus as we are more focused on the overall experience, rather than the professional mindset of looking at the minimum detail instead of enjoying the ride itself.

Please next time try understanding our recommendations before taking the bikes and then leave bad reviews that may impact other customers who may be badly influenced by a frustrated person for a misunderstanding of expectations.

Regarding your recent report, we have some responses as your narration deviates from reality.

For the helmet, you mentioned it opened by itself due to the closing mechanism. After you started riding, we checked and found a particle preventing proper closure. Removing it, the helmet worked perfectly and didn’t open by itself. We used the same helmet for other customers without issues. We inspect equipment before making excuses, as problems often stem from user misuse, not equipment.

For the bike chain, you said it wasn’t working. After a technician inspected the bike the day after your rental, we found the two gears were set incorrectly, causing the problem. The bike has two gear mechanisms, one front and one back. If one is set incorrectly, the chain works improperly, affecting bike performance. The bike was maintained less than a week before your rental with a new chain and gear calibration. Experience with bike gears is necessary for effective use, and poor experience can lead to such issues, attributed to the user.

Our phone number uses a sophisticated AI system to respond to customer inquiries, loved by our customers and aiding in operation management. All pertinent information is included in the AI’s response and a paper attached to each bike, accessible via QR code. This paper contains about 90% of the information, including a comprehensive list of potential issues.

As mentioned, and indicated in the paper, we don’t provide road assistance for issues that may occur on the road. If you encounter a problem, return the bike to our shop. Upon your call, the AI recognized your need for assistance and transferred the call to our store, where we offered to exchange the bike. However, you declined this offer, and our support exceeded capabilities. Checking the call log, the total call length was 2:42 minutes with the AI, with extra time due to a language misunderstanding as we spoke English and you translated to French for others, prolonging the call.

Our store was experiencing high customer volume, with only one individual managing all operations. We responded as promptly as possible with available resources. The individual who answered your call understood the problem and offered a solution, which you declined, stating you preferred to park the bike due to time constraints.

Regarding the lock, as mentioned during check-in, bikes can be secured together when parked, making a separate lock for each often redundant. We inspected the lock and found no issues, though the key required some manual effort due to resistance.

Upon your return, you communicated with our technician, who couldn’t inspect the bike on the spot due to the issue requiring thorough examination. Despite initial uncertainty, we promptly issued a full refund for the bike. We later discovered the issue was user-related, as indicated by the technician, not mechanical.

It’s important to note that bike-related issues aren’t always directly attributable to the bike or poor maintenance. In most cases, they stem from user incompetence or lack of knowledge, making effective solutions challenging.

Given you had the bike for the entire day without payment, we considered the situation more than fair, also not requiring this revenge review. We refunded the full amount, even though the bike returned damaged and incurred restoration costs. Therefore, we cannot ascertain the potential outcome if you had only paid for the two functional bikes and not the one deemed “not working” after we identified the issue.

In the future, we encourage you to carefully review your reviews and refrain from altering the context solely to get opinion content from other users.

We believe the resolution to this matter was handled appropriately.

At the lowest price €6 per hour for an eBike, we offer exceptional value in the heart of Como, including professional maintenance, safety equipment, and comprehensive insurance coverage. Also, our brand new store location is one of the best in Como, with the highest tech behind the business, rather than just a paper and signature for the whole process. We highly invested in the best Apple technology for the best comfort.

Also, we put great effort in the bikes maintenance and recently changes bikes anti-puncutre tires, new safety mirrors (which you can't find on any bike rented in the market), new batteries with USB charging for mobile phones, a pump included for every bike, an helmet included for free (even if not mandatory in italy) , phone holder: all this for just 6€ per hour, which is a more than fair price, seen the italian market and taxation which is one of the highest in Europe.

In today's challenging economic climate, especially in Como's prime location, we work diligently to maintain competitive pricing while ensuring all bikes are mechanically sound and safe. Any visible repairs you noticed are actually evidence of our proactive maintenance approach to keep our fleet running reliably.
