After 25 years, I decided to take surfing more seriously, so I headed to Gabo's surf shop in Levanto.

He gave me excellent advice; he's a recognized national expert in the field, and no one will be able to guide you better than he can.

Gabo suggested the perfect board that fits both my budget and skill level. Excellent value for money!

Great shop! Had a bunch of softtops available for renting and I believe a couple of hardtops as well. They also sold nice surf supplies and the owner was very nice!

Surfshop caratteristico e altrettanto caratteristico proprietario levantese DOCG. Chiave d'interpretazione: Cencio La Parolaccia surfshop a Levanto. Fa sempre sconti ma se c'è un problema non prendetelo di punta ;).
Ps. Se siete dei neofiti del surf state lontano dai picchi migliori, comunque non siete in grado di sfruttarli e fate perdere onde agli altri, cercate di non essere di intralcio e rispettate le precedenze. In particolare evitate di entrare ai Nadia o alla Gritta

Ho noleggiato una tavola da surf e ho accidentalmente rotto una pinna: non me l'hanno nemmeno fatta pagare!
In tantissimi altri posti sarebbe stato un ottimo modo per intascarsi una 50ina di euro facili.

Posto top, ben attrezzato per noleggio di attrezzature da surf e altro. Prezzi molto abbordabili e onesti. Sempre molto gentili e disponibili. Molto bravi nel consigliare la giusta attrezzatura !!!

Se siete appassionati di surf e siete in zona non potete non visitare questo surf shop a pochi metri dalla spiaggia . Gabo e’ un’autorita’ nazionale del settore , nessuno meglio di lui saprà consigliarvi.

Telefono intorno alle 10 per sapere se posso prenotare 2 bici. Mi si dice che le bici sono tutte impegnate per la mattina, ma che posso prenotarne 2 per le ore 15. Allora lascio il mio nominativo, anche se ho l' impressione che dall'altra parte nessuno abbia segnato la mia prenotazione. La chiamata viene infatti rapidamente chiusa con un saluto. Da Deiva arrivo a Levanto. Dal sito internet risulta che il locale è aperto continuativamente. Provo ad anticipare il mio arrivo. Il locale è chiuso e attendo, al caldo. Provo a chiamare al telefono cellulare indicato. Nessuno risponde. Attendo, come da accordi, le h 15. Arriva un signore con moglie e figlio, si lavano con un tubo dell'acqua davanti alla porta del locale e, quando si accorge della mia presenza in attesa (non avevo capito che fosse il proprietario) mi chiede se aspetto l'apertura. Rammento la mia prenotazione telefonica e mi viene risposto che tutte le bici sono fuori. Mi si consiglia un altro noleggiatore. Avrei preferito: prenotazione con appunto di nome e numero di telefono (come è stato fatto da altro noleggiatore il giorno successivo) per avvisare di imprevisti e non fare perdere tempo a eventuali clienti. Avrei preferito che il consiglio di altro noleggiatore mi venisse dato già alle 10 nella telefonata della mattina.

The guys told me his prices and that I can rent à board for... 25 € / 2 hours. I went paying 6 euros for the parking, came back 10 minutes later and he told me that the red flag is not on the beach anymore so he cant rent anymore the board... that was wrong cause I rent 10 minutes later a board in another Shop for... 20 € the half day...

The shop owner surfed 5 days in a row and did no lessons. I surfed at the south side of the bay too. Then when it got flat and I wanted to take my girlfriend to the beach and surf with here he didn't let us in the water because he blocked it for his class. We could only surf on the other side of the bay because my girlfriend didn't pay for his beginner class. This is not how surfing and the Ozean works. If you want to learn how surfing works and what rules there are in surfing, I would recommend you to avoid this shop and levanto in general! I surf for over 8 years and never ever had I got send out of the water because of a beginner class! This surf school does not understand what surfing is about!!

Cattiva gestione commerciale, manutenzione, assistenza e le biciclette non sufficientemente adeguate per percorsi ciclabili es. Perdita del pedale, mancanza di fanali anteriori e di campanello.... problemi di serratura del lucchetto. Fatti evidenziati , ma non presi in seria considerazione , considerati solo un caso sfortunato . Vi consiglio di controllare bene le bici prima di partire ,per non incappare, magar ,, in seri pericoli.

Ma se non siete neanche capaci andare in bici ed a aprire un lucchetto statevene a casa vostra, 3 km in piano cosa vuoi la bici di cipollini

Sicuramente dopo 4 stagioni non ci verremo più, anzi visto che la sua presunzione fà da padrone, allora la invito a venire in Trentino e vedrà la differenza di accoglienza che troverà......e si deve ritenere fortunato che mio figlio non sia caduto e fatto male per la perdita del pedale.

We were customers at this store during a busy time with good conditions. Only two foam surfboards were available for rental. The smaller one (7'ish) was damaged (10++ cm dent on the top side of the board), which we did let the store owner know to make sure that this is not going to be a problem upon board return. He acknowledged.

During our second session, the board broke exactly at the location which was already damaged (while in the waves, no contact with anything but water). We went back to the store to exchange the board. The owner was very upset, and within seconds he lost his emotional control. He approached my friend head-to-head with extreme aggression, seemingly willing to start a fight instantly. We were completely bewildered and all deescalation efforts (passive posture with hands behind our back, slowly retreating when he came too close, speaking calmly) failed. At times he switched to Italian (which we don't understand), ignoring our requests to speak english, quite probably to insult us. When we were almost off the property, he threw his fist so hard against his wooden surfboard storage that a sign broke into pieces.

Since we still needed to bring back the second surfboard and pay our bill, we returned with two policemen whose presence helped to avoid further escalation. However, they did not speak any English and therefore only heard the owners side of the story, at some point gesturing us to simply pay the owner. The bill for the broken board was 30 EUR for one day of rental (that we knew before) plus 50 EUR for breaking the board (that was *not* communicated beforehand). So we paid 80 EUR for a pre-damaged Olaian surfbord that Decathlon sells for 146 EUR - judge for yourself.

The owner verbally expressed strong resentments against beginners that break his boards due to their inaptitude (for reference: all of us have several years of experience, including worse conditions and bigger waves). The fact that his rental gear includes some of the cheapest available foam surfboards appears to be somewhat contradictory.

Here are some 1:1 quotes from the owner to help you to get an idea of what to expect in this store if something goes wrong:
- "the board is not the problem, you are the problem"
- „if I want to fight with you - two minutes and it’s over“
- „because you are a baby“

Went into this store after coming to Levento to surf. The weather was a bit too harsh for my husband and I, high winds and rain. so we took a look at the shop. Ended up finding two shirts we love and had a great conversation with who I believe was the owner. We will be sending all our traveling surf buddies your way! Much love from San Diego! Owner is rude. Accused me of not paying when really they are just bad at record keeping. Refused to serve me or even discuss the issue further. Very aggressive and dismissive attitude. Only had unpleasant experiences with them in 3 days I entered their shop.
