The service and price were good, generally speaking. However, we had a frustrating experience regarding traffic regulations. We received a fine for entering the historic center of Gallipoli. Since we don't speak Italian, we didn't understand the signs.

When I mentioned this to the agency, they admitted that 'this happens to many clients.' If they know this is a common mistake, they should warn customers beforehand. To make matters worse, the agency charges an additional €25 administrative fee just to notify you about the fine. A simple warning during pick-up would save customers both the fine and this extra fee. I hope they improve their communication in the future.

Servizio impeccabile dall’inizio alla fine! Il personale è stato estremamente cordiale, professionale e disponibile, pronto a rispondere a ogni domanda con gentilezza e chiarezza. L’auto che ho noleggiato era in condizioni perfette, pulita, comoda e davvero ben tenuta. Le pratiche burocratiche sono state rapide e senza intoppi, e anche la restituzione del veicolo è avvenuta in modo semplice e veloce.

Un’ottima esperienza sotto tutti i punti di vista: trasparenza, qualità e attenzione al cliente. Consiglio vivamente questa attività a chi cerca un servizio di noleggio auto affidabile e di alta qualità. Sicuramente tornerò da loro per i miei prossimi viaggi!

Salento rent were amazing! Rented a smart car for two days and then a scooter for 3 days after that. The prices were more than fair, the vehicles themselves were in great condition and very fun to drive, and the staff were super friendly and very helpful. I have never written a google review before but the service at salento rent was so amazing I felt it necessary. I would recommend this company for anyone looking to hire a vehicle in the Puglia region, they absolutely made my holiday!

Personale molto maleducato e totalmente non professionale (tranne un’impiegata che malgrado l’ambiente in cui si trova a lavorare è stata molto gentile e ha provato ad aiutarci in tutti modi, e a cui auguro di trovare un altro posto di lavoro al più presto!)
L’altra signora alla reception era scocciata, infastidita e arrogante come se ci stesse facendo un piacere personale ad affittarci un motorino per due giorni. Dopo aver perso mezz’ora ed essere stati trattati male siamo andati ad affittarlo da un’altra parte dove non c’è stato alcun problema

On vous fait des boniments au début pour ensuite vous soutirer plus d'une journée supplémentaire grâce à leur règle de "pas plus de 100km par jour": ce qui est pratiquement impossible à respecter. La dame très bête qui insulte ses clients en italien en parlant à un autre employé, pensant qu'on ne comprend pas langue. Vu que les locations de scooter ne manquent pas dans le coin, définitivement recommandé d'aller ailleurs. Des voleurs qui vous crachent au visage.

Salento Rent est la seule agence que j'ai trouvée dans le centre de Lecce ouverte le dimanche, offrant un accueil exceptionnellement chaleureux. J'ai rapidement pu réserver la BMW GS 1200 dès l'ouverture, bien qu'il s'agisse du seul modèle de moto disponible. Le tarif de base pour une journée avec 100 km inclus est de 95 euros, ce qui est très raisonnable. Au final, j'ai parcouru 212 km dans la journée, ce qui ne m'a coûté que 35 euros supplémentaires. La facturation était transparente, sans aucune surprise. Le retour du véhicule est flexible : soit dans la nuit, soit le lundi matin, selon votre convenance. Un service impeccable, je suis entièrement satisfait de ce professionnel.

Personale poco empatico. Difficoltà a gestire il noleggio dello scooter. Poco disponibili a risolvere problematiche amministrative legate alla cauzione da garantire con carta di credito. Abbiamo noleggiato lo scooter in una differente agenzia senza alcun problema.

Had a bad experience with customer service here. There is a staff member who makes the whole process harder, slower and is disrespectful.

I called up to organise a scooter to rent and the person on the phone told me to arrive at 9:30am or I would miss out on a scooter because they were busy.

When I arrived at 9:30am, she told me to come back at 10am because they weren’t open until 10am. She explained that she only told me 9:30 because she didn’t think I’d be on time.

Then she spent 15 minutes trying to tell me that my credit card was not a credit card. I had to show the website of the card to prove to her that it was a credit card. I also had to explain / prove to her that I knew how to ride a scooter, despite clearly showing her my car and motorbike license. She really did not want to rent us a scooter.

Luckily another staff member was there and helped us out and we were able to get a scooter.

Then again when we returned the scooter, it wasn’t an easy process. She started to help me out with the return process, and then left me waiting while she helped someone else for a bit.

Good scooters, but rude service.

Malísimo servicio. Llamamos A las 9am para reservar un auto por el día, la chica nos dijo que vayamos a las 10am a retirarlo y cuando llegamos nos dijo que ya se lo había entregado a otra persona que lo alquilo por 2 semanas.
No lo recomiendo.

Pour info, ce loueur demande une carte de crédit (avec bloquage de 500 euros) et non une carte de débit pour pouvoir louer un scooter 125.
Si carte de débit, 1000 euros sont bloqués sur votre compte.
Nous n’avons pas donné suite à cette proposition que nous avons trouvé un peu exagéré pour une simple location de scooter (d’autres loueurs dans les pouilles ne pratiquent pas ces conditions)

Awful unprofessional service. Charged us double after returning the motorcycle, all the scooters were in terrible condition. However, this was not the worst part. The lady there had terrible attitude and completely unprofessional and rude behaviour.

If you need to rent a scooter in Lecce this is the worst place possible.

Very easy-going and friendly rental agency with fair conditions. Unlike bigger rental companies, they did not try to make us pay any extra fees for additional insurances, so the contract was very comprehensible and without any hidden costs. We rented a scooter and a car, both worked perfectly and prices seemed fair to us.

Friendly staff, easygoing. No problems, no worries.
Took the Kawasaki Versys 650 for two days; went out west one day and east the next. Good bike, drove a dream and much more fun than a car. Beware crazy Italian motorists!
