We were taught manners and respect... perhaps you didn't receive the same upbringing.
You were given all the right instructions to enjoy your e-bike day, and you had all the necessary, fully functional gear (we even verified that everything was working properly when you returned). Perhaps you were lazy, or perhaps you simply failed to manage things correctly to ensure the e-bike was returned with a charged battery (incurring the €15 fee). I repeat: the chargers at our store—which you saw for yourselves—were working perfectly (it’s like magic).
That said, since you had already enjoyed your day on the e-bike, it was only fair that other customers with reservations should also get to enjoy the island's beauty using our products. Because we didn't have an available e-bike (yours was dead), we had to pay an extra €15—on top of the fee you paid—to source a replacement e-bike from another agency (we lost more money than you realize).
I am providing all these explanations (which I am not actually obliged to give) so you can understand how our agency operates (and you were aware of all this information before renting from us).
In any case, I am glad your e-bike day was pleasant (I hope), and while I accept your review, I do not agree with it; I hope that next time—whether dealing with another company, restaurant, or whatever else—you think things through before posting.
In Italy, we call people like that "keyboard warriors."
