Would give 10 stars if possible. Dmitri was a personable knowledable encyclopedia of information of the area. His English was excellent. A leisurely ride with stops at wine tasting, gelato and olive oil. Bikes were new and worked well, thank goodness for the electric part given the hills. Highly recommend this tour company 👍

We rented an e mountain bike from Dimitry at Ciclio Tuscna for about 5 days to do some riding around the Tuscany area. I was riding my road bike and Dimitry set us up with a great e mtb for my wife that was perfect for all kinds of rides. We were staying at the Hilton Borgo Alle Vigne in Selvatelle and Ciclio Tuscana was very close by. Dimitri has excellent customer service and speaks very good english (and Italian I assume). He is very fast to respond to inquiries and uses email, phone calls and what's app so is very easy to keep in touch with. He sized the bike and made adjustments. The best part is that Ciclio Toscsna not only rents bikes but offers all kinds of guided tours. We were not in need of a guided bike tour of Tuscany but Dimitri sent us bike routes on Komoot to give us a few local routes to follow. The routes included sections of the famous white gravel roads of Tuscany and took us past many wineries to tour. He said he could put together a bike wine tour map of the Tuscany region if we wanted that. We stopped at two of the wineries he recommended, they knew him, and the wine was great. The wine was great everywhere because it is Tuscany, duh. Chianti is the name of the wine and Sangiovese is the grape. And the white gravel roads of Tuscany are great also. Very scenic, as you would expect, rolling hills so you can accumulate some vertical on a longer ride, enough towns to stop in for food and espresso, and very little car traffic. The weather has been good in late September, some rain but warm, and plenty of sunshine. The light in Tuscany, as in "under the Tuscan sun" is really nice and the vibe is relaxing and chill. We did two bike routes that Dimitri sent us and we did two more substantial rides near Siena. Bike riding in Tuscany can take many forms- shorter recreational rides or very long rides that combine roads and gravel. We highly recommed Ciclio Toscana and Dimitri for the great customer service, very nice bikes, and no shortage of advice and help. As I said earlier Dimitri answers his phone and gets back to you right away so call him first if you are in need of a bike tour or bike rental in Tuscany. Ciao and good riding to all!

My wife and I took this tour with Luigi. He was fantastic! We traveled all over Florence and then up into the Tuscany hills south of the city. We stopped at numerous beautiful spots for pictures and history. And then had lunch and wine at an amazing farm. The adventure was one of the top highlights of our vacation. If you're thinking of booking, do it. You'll have a great day!

Very good service, always available for any help or advice. Comprehensive toolkit provided and a rack bag to carry stuff. My wife is experienced with electric assistance. I have many years experience of lightweight road cycling, but this was a revelation. With these bikes you can get away with hardly any effort or just save the power for a very long steep climb. It's up to you! We stayed on the paved/tarmac surfaces but the power and sturdy tyres suggest lots of trail/ off-road possibilities. Very enjoyable.

Today I had the pleasure of joining CicloToscana, with Dimitri, for an unforgettable e-bike tour through the stunning landscapes of Tuscany, and I can’t recommend them enough! The tour was not only a scenic adventure but also a one of a kind experience, enhanced by a fantastic wine tasting at a local winery.

Dimitri, truly made the day special. His knowledge of the area and passion for the local culture shone through, making every stop along the way engaging and informative. He struck the perfect balance between fun and professionalism and truly got me excited about the journey. It was my first time riding an e-bike, and it was great to have the support going up the hills and definitely made it less tiring.

They were incredibly flexible, allowing me to start the tour from Chianni, which was a huge plus. Even when we faced an unexpected road closure that prevented us from returning to Chianni, Dimitri’s father, Emiliano, kindly offered to drive me back to my accommodation.

Overall, this e-bike tour was an amazing and different way to explore the region, complete with breathtaking views, funny anecdotes, and delicious wine. If you are looking for an adventurous and unique way to see the area I would highly recommend a tour with Dimitri!
