We rented eBikes (mountain) for two days and received excellent-quality bikes that were well-maintained. Mark was generous with his time and shared his thoughts on a couple of different long routes that we wanted to ride. While the weather was a bit spotty, we had two fantastic rides. Mark is personable and knowledgeable and will take good care of you and set you on a great adventure in this region.

The shop is also well-stocked with clothing and kit and an excellent selection of bikes for sale.

They also rent road and gravel bikes.

I went on the 65 km tour to Alta Badia with Mark – an experience I can highly recommend. The Bike Shop On the Rocks acted with great professionalism from start to finish.

Ich habe mit Mark die 65 km lange Tour nach Alta Badia unternommen – ein Erlebnis, das ich nur weiterempfehlen kann. Der Bike Shop On the Rocks hat von Anfang bis Ende sehr professionell agiert.

The bike rental service was outstanding! The staff was patient, helpful, and very professional – they perfectly matched us with the equipment we needed. The bikes were top quality, and the price was completely reasonable. We were especially impressed with the wheel replacement kit they provided – it saved us when we got a flat tire on the mountain, and the staff patiently explained over FaceTime how to change the wheel. Such service is rare! Highly recommended.

We rented bikes here five times during our two-week trip, and everything was awesome. The owners are super friendly, always have great tips on where to ride, and they remembered us from last year — which is amazing. Abbiamo noleggiato due bici elettriche e un trasportino per mia figlia di 2 anni. Appena arrivati le bici erano già pronte e in ottimo stato. Bici top di gamma, ci hanno permesso di fare oltre 30km di sentieri di montagna, ancora con 50% di batteria residua. Il trasportino poi era eccezionale: sono entrati due zaini, le felpe, e mia figlia ci ha dormito pure 3 ore. Se torneremo in questa zona delle dolomiti riprenderemo sicuramente le bici a noleggio

The experience was lovely all around!
My partner and I tried to make a booking last minute and the site wasn't working, but the staff were ever so helpful on the phone and reserved them for us over the phone.
Then when we got to the shop, they made sure we know what we are doing and that we have maps and warned us about some diversions due to construction works.

During the day I fell off the bike on hard gravel and smashed the e bike screen (and myself)...The first thing guys at shop did when we came back, was check if I am alright and if I needed anything and only then looked at the bike. After I felt guilty damaging rented equipment and upset that I will cause them neusance, they were really reassuring and calm and made me feel much better about what happened.

I rented an e-bike for the Sellaronda MTB track and couldn’t have been happier with the experience. The bike’s performance in the mountains was top-tier—responsive, long-lasting battery, and clearly well-maintained. The entire shop operates with a high level of professionalism and expertise.

I primarily worked with Lorenzo and Andres, who were fantastic. They walked me through the bike’s specs and also shared helpful tips on trails, guiding options, and even food recommendations. Highly recommend!

Notre famille a loué 4 VTT electriques pour 4 jours. Le service offert par ce magasin de location est exceptionnel
D'abord les vélos sont impeccables, mais surtout lorsque ma fille n'avait plus de batterie, Mark a fait 1 heure de déplacement pour nous en apporter une autre. Ils nous ont aussi prêté gratuitement des coussins de selle.

Highly recommend renting bike from this friendly and helpful bike shop! My husband and I rented e-bikes, he mountain bikes and has ridden e-bikes before and I had never ridden an e-bike and bike mainly only on paved roads. They were extremely kind and patient explaining all of the ins and outs of the bike and functionality (we rented the full suspension), and gave great advice on local trails. They were super flexible with our schedule with potential impending rain for pick up/drop off, and the bikes performed well and were in great shape. Definitely rent from this shop if you're looking for bikes in Ortisei!
