OTTIMI PROFESSIONISTI.

Ho contattato Officine Recycle sapendo già che è un’azienda vicino a Modena che progetta e costruisce cargo bike per chiedere info circa la possibilità di elettrificare la mia Babboe city muscolare che a vuoto pesa circa 50 kg: aggiungendo il mio peso, quello di mio figlio e due cose trasportate raggiungeva tranquillamente i 140 kg totali da muovere … a “gamba”; nonostante io sia attivo sportivamente, andando spesso anche in bici devo dire che gli spostamenti erano decisamente faticosi.

Dopo aver osservato e verificato da vicino alcuni particolari costruttivi, Marco mi ha dato l’ok per l’acquisto di motore e batteria.
Oltre a questo mi ha consigliato alcune migliorie relative la sicurezza (installazione di ruota con freno a disco anteriore e luci).

LAVORO ESEGUITO A REGOLA D’ARTE.
La bici ora monta un motore potente che mi ha alleggerito di molto il lavoro ante intervento, ha una frenata decisamente migliore e sicura rispetto quella che avevo in precedenza.
Il kit prevede un display sul quale è possibile scegliere il grado di assistenza alla pedalata (su 4 livelli), la distanza percorsa totale, la distanza percorsa parziale, la velocità media tenuta, il tempo di utilizzo parziale.
È presente anche una porta USB per un’eventuale carica dello smartphone.
Tutto può essere gestito e comandato direttamente dal display o dal comando remoto posizionato vicino alla manopola del manubrio.

Sono molto soddisfatto dell’investimento fatto che è stato definito da Marco (e concordo in pieno) “ora hai un’altra bici”.

GREAT PROFESSIONALS.
I contacted Officine Recycle already knowing that it's a company near Modena that designs and builds cargo bikes to ask for info about the possibility of electrifying my muscular Babboe city which weighs about 50 kg when empty: adding my weight, that of my son and two things transported could easily reach the total 140 kg to be moved … by leg.
Although I am sportingly active, I also often go by bike, I must say that the journeys were definitely tiring.
After closely observing and verifying some construction details, Marco gave me the go-ahead for the purchase of the motor and battery.
In addition to this he recommended some safety related improvements (installation of front wheel with disc brake and lights).
PERFORMED IN A WORKMANLIKE MANNER

The bike now mounts a powerful engine that has greatly lightened my work, it has much better and safer braking than what I had previously.
The kit includes a display on which it is possible to choose the degree of pedaling assistance (on 4 levels), the total distance travelled, the partial distance travelled, the average speed held, the partial use time.
There is also a USB port for a possible smartphone charge.
Everything can be managed and controlled directly from the display or from the remote control positioned near the handlebar grip.

I am very satisfied with the investment made which was defined by Marco (and I fully agree) "now you have another bike".

Kann man auch 6 Sterne geben? Seit 2 Jahren fahre ich nun ein wunderbares Lastenrad von Marco und seinen Kollegen. Alles nach meinen Wünschen, mit dem Wissen der Profis optimiert nutze ich es jeden Tag mit Stolz und Freude.

Der Kontakt, die Bestellung, die Gastfreundschaft, der Service… alles war wunderbar.

I've been to the bikeshop to learn how to make the cargo bikes. Every bike is made with dedication and love. The bikes have beautiful designs and a great ride. I also have my own Bronte XL and it rides fast like the wind!

I bought in March 2020 a second-hand 2017 Bronte XL with awesome Sram Rival setup, for professional use as bike messenger in Paris. Unfortunately, the previous owner might have mistreated the lateral bars of the loading area while working with it, which I litteraly couldn't see when I first saw the bike. Tried to reach Officine Recycle to ask questions about the frame and the need of repair few days after the acquisition, got a real answer only in.... October, they nicely offered to host me in Italy if I could come, and do some repairs/reinforcement, which would have been possible only on next year for me. Finally, after 4000km of cautious use, the frame completely broke in November, on several spots at the same time, as I was riding it.
I had to find a solution. I first chose to trust Officine Recycle again despite the unfortunate destiny of the first frame. I asked for details and price for a new frameset, and got at first a wonderful promise of 2-3 week fabrication and discount price. After few more emails, I couldn't get any clear answer to rather simple questions for my order, until I didn't get any answer at all. It's been 2 months+ like that and I had to find another solution. Making amazing promises is awesome, having delays and being busy is understandable, but getting so long for answering and just inform customers is not acceptable and very disappointing in my opinion. :(
