We booked an e-bike tour with Alessio in mid-September, and wow, are we ever happy that we did! It was quite possibly our favorite activity during our three weeks in Tuscany--which is saying a LOT! We explained to Alessio what we were generally interested in doing and seeing, and he put together the perfect adventure that included exploring beautiful backroads through the countryside, a visit to the Abbey, stops in the villages of Sant'Angelo in Colle and Castel Nuovo dell’Abate, and for the finale, a delicious lunch at a small family-owned winery that we never would have found on our own. The tour was scenic, informative and exhilarating, and Alessio's local knowledge and passion for biking were palpable--which made for an unforgettable afternoon. He also helped us pinpoint exactly where a special photo was taken in Montalcino on our honeymoon 25 years ago! Grazie mille, Alessio!!

We rented e-bikes for the day and Federico was amazing throughout the whole process. He delivered the bikes directly to our villa, set us up with a route including making reservations at 2 wineries for us to taste wine and eat lunch, and even came and picked us up from an alternate location when we were finished. Above and beyond! I highly recommend Federico and his company for a private tour or just bike rentals. 10/10!

I had a terrific ride using the route recommended - it was a bit over 40 km. So picturesque and quiet. There was about a 1/3 that was gravel road which easy and probably reduced the traffic.

My first time using an electric Bike which worked fine. I did like the boost on the way up to Montalcino.

Recommended.

Federico gentilissimo nel garantire il noleggio di e-bike per visitare la stupenda Val d'Orcia, anche avvisando solo qualche giorno prima. Davvero disponibile nel definire gli orario di ritiro e riconsegna delle biciclette (condizione che abbiamo preferito tra tutte), nella spiegazione di come usarle al meglio e del possibile percorso da fare!!
Consiglio assolutamente il noleggio da Pedala e Ripara!!

Giornata eroica Montalcino, prenotato con poco anticipo le ebike per le ragazze che non facevano la ciclostorica.
Siamo molto soddisfatti, ottimi prezzi, buone biciclette, personale cortese e molto disponibile! Possibilità di avere anche il germin con diversi percorsi preimposati.
Preziosi i consigli ricevuti prima della partenza.
Quando torneremo non mancheremo di prenotare nuovamente qui le ebike per le ragazze.

Sono stata a Montalcino per la val d'orcia gravel ma ho dimenticato a Torino la batteria della mia e-bike! Se non fosse stato per la disponibilità di Federico non avrei potuto partecipare. Quindi non posso fare altro che ringraziarlo e consigliare di andarlo a trovare approfittando dei magnifici luoghi da visitare in bicicletta.

Non abbiamo noleggiato le bike poichè in viaggio cicloturistico autonomo in Val d'Orcia. Un problema meccanico ci ha fermato a Montalcino. Abbiamo contattato l'officina che molto gentilmente ci ha dato l'appuntamento nel pomeriggio. Puntualissimi hanno risolto egregiamente il problema e non hanno voluto nulla per il lavoro svolto! L'onestà che sembra essere perduta in questa epoca, l'abbiamo trovata insieme ad un alta professionalità a "pedala & ripara" Grazie infinite

Great bikes and great service.
Federico and Alessio delivered the bikes to our hotel and designed three different rides on the Garmin navigator I have rented for a few extra money.
They were nice to let us use the bikes one extra day due to the bad weather of the previous days.

The bikes were already prepared when we arrived! Easy booking and good communication! We started with a lot of motivation on our bike-trip. Untill we took the wrong way… We were a bit too motivated 😄Luckily Federico came to help us! Despite it was a very beautiful tour and the bikes were very nice! Very friendly, funny and helpful owner!
