Alquilé una bicicleta de carretera por solo un día.
Fueron todo facilidades, llamé a primera hora de la tarde y la pude recoger el mismo día para usarla el día siguiente. No cobraron ningún extra por esto.
La bicicleta era muy cómoda e iba muy fina. Sin duda, cuando vuelva a esta zona alquilaré les volveré a alquilar una bicicleta

We rented e-mountain bikes and did a 40km loop around Siena that the shop recommended. We went on a Monday, and they happened to have the good bikes available. I think we were lucky. I recommend making a reservation. They helped us choose a route of roads and gravel. It was perfect. Got a good workout and saw some beautiful Tuscan countryside.

Nonostante un iniziale problema con l’annullamento di una prenotazione, il team di Siena Bike Shop, e in particolare Noemi, si è dimostrato estremamente disponibile e professionale nel trovare una soluzione rapida ed efficace, mantenendo sempre educazione e perseveranza nelle risposte.

Le biciclette (due Bianchi) erano in ottimo stato, perfettamente revisionate e adatte al percorso; ci è stato fornito anche il kit per le forature e tutto il necessario.

Il personale è competente, gentile e appassionato. Un servizio eccellente che ha reso la nostra esperienza in Toscana davvero perfetta.

Purtroppo la mia esperienza è stata frustrante. Durante un giro in MTB nel trasportare la bici ho perso il dado che permette il serraggio del perno della ruota anteriore. Mi presento al negozio chiedendo il pezzo di ricambio che è quasi impossibile non avere se ripari biciclette.

Mi accolgono due ragazze che subito mi dicono che il meccanico non c’è e che non sanno se mi possono aiutare. Mi offro di aiutarle a cercare il pezzo, ma in meno di 5 minuti mi liquidano dicendo che non possono fare nulla per aiutarmi. Faccio presente che senza quel pezzo sono a piedi e non posso iniziare il mio percorso per il weekend, ma non aggiungono altro se non invitarmi a uscire.

Io sono altamente sicuro che almeno un pezzo del genere da qualche parte in negozio ci doveva essere, ma anche se non ci fosse stato mi ha terribilmente frustrato il fatto che queste due persone non abbiano fatto alcuno sforzo nel cercare di aiutarmi, almeno indicandomi a chi altro potermi rivolgere.
Non si lavora così.

La fortuna ha voluto che un’altro negoziante della zona mi indicasse un negozio di riparazione bici che non si trova su Google maps: il negozio di Rossi Martino che si trova in via camollia 206. Il Sign. Rossi mi ha fornito immediatamente il pezzo ed è stato estremamente gentile e disponibile.

Invito voi due ragazze a prendere esempio da professionisti come lui, altrimenti rischiate di rovinare rapidamente la reputazione di un negozio.

Czytając wszystkie pochlebne opinie aż ciężko mi uwierzyć że są prawdziwe, gdyż moje doświadczenie z tą wypożyczalnia są zdecydowanie negatywne. Zablokowaliśmy rowery przez stronę, zapłaciliśmy i na tym skończyła się dobra współpraca z tą wypożyczalnią. Dostarczyli nam rowery nie sprawne. W grawelu hamulce nie sprawne, w pierwszym elektryku dla dziecka bateria z zasięgiem 35 km, w następnym elektryku ciśnienie w oponach 0,5 bara. W kolejnym elektryku luzy na sztych kierownicy i przednim kole, koło ręka miało luz po pół centymetra w każdą stronę. Oczywiście podjechaliśmy do sklepu i Pani z obsługi nie bardzo chciała przyjąć nasze argumenty, ale jakoś doszliśmy do porozumienia. Ruszyliśmy w pierwszą wyprawę z dwu godzinnym opóźnieniem i oczywiście po 30 km bateria w pierwszym elektryku padła. Okazało się że nie były naładowane. Dostaliśmy do hotelu, naładowaliśmy i następnego dnia ruszyliśmy w trasę ponad 80 km. Impeachment chciał że łańcuch pękł, była niedziela i kontakt z tą wypożyczalnia jest nie możliwy…. Stracone pieniądze czas i zepsuty urlop. Najgorsza wypożyczalnia z jaką się spotkalem, a korzystam kilka razy w roku z różnych wypożyczalni w różnych krajach, Czesi Austriacy Słowacy Szwajcarzy są dekadę przed nimi. Moja ocena negatywna polecam szukać innej. Tomek z rodziną

Abbiamo noleggiato due bianchi per un’intera giornata. Una delle due bici ha avuto un problema che ci ha costretti a chiamare l’assistenza. I ragazzi sono intervenuti in modo rapido ed efficiente, sostituendo subito la bici difettosa, permettendoci di proseguire il nostro percorso tranquillamente. Bravissimi !!

Ich hatte ein völlig verbogenes Schaltwerk, da die Kette aufgrund des vielen Schlammes blockiert hatte. Zudem war bei mir noch eine Verlängerung für das Ausfallende eingebaut, die ebenfalls verbogen war. Der Mechaniker hat sofort durchgeblickt und mir ein neues passendes Schaltwerk vom MTB eingebaut und perfekt eingestellt. Die Schaltung läuft besser als vorher und ich konnte meine Toskana Graveltour fortsetzen. Vielen Dank

Our bikes were delayed by the airline, and Siena Bike shop’s Fede looked after us providing 3 riders with Bianchi road bikes at very short notice. Saved our holiday. . Then we transferred to Bianchi gravel bikes for the Strada Bianche. He was totally awesome. Patient and accommodating (seat angle, set back from stem, blah blah blah). I always wanted to ride a Bianchi and it didn’t disappoint. Fede made the transition seem-less!!! Jersey selection was also broad at reasonable prices. Thank you Fede

For those thinking of bringing your bike or renting one. I would rent one if your trip is short.

For those wondering what bike to ride along the Strade Bianche, definitely a gravel bike or a 32mm tyre road bike

So good! Beautiful bikes, friendly staff, tried all their gravel bikes (2-days of packing on aluminum gravel bikes with heavy panniers/saddles, 1-day of fast chianti gravel riding without bags), and some friends on e-bikes (all road / gravel), everything worked perfectly, fast set up, nice mechanics, great communication and flexibility during open hours 🤩 Did someone say pretty blue bikes??

Mooie zaak met uitstekende mensen. Ik bleek op zaterdag net na sluitingstijd aan te komen. Had op de site niet goed gecheckt maar de jongen aldaar helpt eerst keurig zn gasten om vervolgens mij te voorzien van een toppatroon gravelfiets met n elektrische groep van sram erop. Checkt de fiets, monteert n wahoo mount en de juiste pedalen plus n kitje voor onderweg. Fiets goed op mn maten gezet en de dag erop n mooie gravel strade bianchi ervaring mee gedaan. Dankjewel!

This bike shop saved my day when I had a broken tubeless tire during a tour of Italy. They were able to replace it quickly after I decided to go this way, and even fix another issue on the rear dérailleur. Strongly recommend 👍

De mechanikers van Sienna Bike Shop hebben mij snel uitstekend geholpen met de problemen die ik had met mijn achter-derailleur. Ik miste de lichtste 3 versnellingen die toch echt nog wel nodig had gedurende de Tuscany Trail 2025.
Kreeg nog goede tips mee voor als ik weer thuis zou zijn.

I would give them 10 stars if I could.

They saved my Tuscany Trail bike trip. My rear derailleur was destroyed early on in the Tuscany Trail, and I was able to hobble a day and a half with it. But it fully died somewhere outside of Montalcino, and there were no bike shops nearby capable of fixing.

I found Siena Bike Shop online, and gave them a call.

First plus was that they spoke very good English, so I did not need to rely on cumbersome translations over the phone.

Second plus was that they had the exact replacement part for me (Shimano GRX812 rear derailleur), and was more than happy to hold it for me. All I needed to do was to take a taxi with my bike to the shop.

Third plus was when I arrived, they knew exactly who I was, and immediately took my bike to their workshop upstairs. They replaced the derailleur in less than an hour, and even replaced my shifter cable.

Fourth plus is that the person who did the repair work clearly knows what he’s doing. He gave me an impression of someone who knows how to work on high end bikes, and does things with upmost precision and attention. He noticed that my rear hubs need servicing, and suggested that I do so soon. And also made sure to let me know that the cable he replaced will stretch with usage, and made sure I knew to fiddle with the barrel adjuster on the derailleur when it starts shifting funny.

Fifth plus is the guys working in the main area are also good people. They were friendly, eager to chat while I was waiting, and were just an overall great experience.

Sixth plus was that they were closing for lunch as I was leaving, and two other Tuscany Trail riders rolled up with mechanical problems. They ended up skipping their lunch breaks to help them. I later bumped into another cyclist who said she had arrived at the shop about an hour after I left, and the guys were still open, finishing up with the two riders earlier. They then helped this other rider.

I can’t express enough how grateful I am for these guys and this shop. I would have had to abandon the Tuscany Trail if it was not for them. If I lived in Siena, this would be my shop of choice.

BTW their showroom features lots of Bianchi road and gravel bikes. They apparently do bike rentals as well. So might be a good option if one wants to do some Strade Bianche bike riding while on holiday there, but would prefer to ride more “serious” bikes that aren’t touristy e-bikes.
