Rented a brilliant Trek Domane here in the summer. The bike was very well maintained and the service was good. Decided later on to purchase the bike from them and got a good offer. The bike had slight mechanical issues which necessitated me to get it repaired after delivery, but Bormio Ski and bike said they will compensate the costs without discussion. All in all a client friendly and trustworthy shop! Hope to visit them in the future when cycling in the area!

Ho acquistato una bici Trek Émonda nuova e, per avere una posizione perfetta, ho anche pagato 100 euro per una visita biomeccanica direttamente in negozio. Dopo soli 3 anni, lo stelo lato destro si è rotto. Riporto la bici al negozio e spiego al titolare che sospetto possa essere dovuto a un arretramento eccessivo della sella.

Appena vede la regolazione, la sua prima reazione è stata: “Chi ha fatto questo lavoro di M.?”. Gli ho risposto, molto semplicemente, che quella regolazione l’aveva fatta proprio lui. Ovviamente ha negato, dicendo che era impossibile. Ma io avevo ancora la stampa con le misure della visita: prova schiacciante che la regolazione era opera loro. A quel punto, con un atteggiamento seccato e arrogante, ha cambiato discorso dicendo che comunque la rottura non dipendeva da quello.

La bici è stata spedita a Trek, e la risposta è stata che la rottura è dovuta a un “agente esterno”, quindi niente garanzia. Quando sono tornato a ritirarla, mi accorgo che la sella era stata spostata in avanti senza che mi dicessero nulla. Chiedo spiegazioni, e con una faccia tosta incredibile mi viene detto: “L’abbiamo messa così sennò Trek dava la colpa alla nostra regolazione”.

Quindi ricapitoliamo: paghi una regolazione professionale, ti insultano per un lavoro che hanno fatto loro, negano l’evidenza, ti riconsegnano la bici modificata di nascosto e scaricano ogni responsabilità.
Un comportamento vergognoso, poco serio e per nulla professionale.

The bikes were top quality, in excellent condition, fitted to our measurements perfectly, and the team gave us great advice on routes and rides in the area. Great ski rental - fab gear, really helpful and friendly staff. Also have a place on the top piste if you need to change anything. Love the shop fit out and heated boot lockers. So well organised with labels and storage. Highly recommend.

My family and I rented 4 bike from Bormio Ski & Bike and we could not be more happy. They had all the bikes ready wo go and fitted us very quickly. We did the ReStelvio race and the bikes were perfect. Danilo and the entire team at the shop were excellent to deal with throughout our stay in Bormio. Great people and outstanding service - highly recommended.

Abbiamo noleggiato tre paia di sci e usufruito del servizio deposito per 5 giorni. Assolutamente soddisfatti sia per l’accoglienza e la professionalità del ragazzo che ci ha seguiti e sia per la pulizia del negozio. Overall I was not satisfied with the condition of the rented bike - Trek Emonda SLR6. Disc brakes were not aligned, which was not a huge problem going uphill. However, while descending the Stelvio, they were making the sounds with each wheel rotation, and the rear brake was not powerful enough that I can be confident on the downhill. I expected for the price that the bike would be in perfect condition. That was not the case. If you need to rent at this place, please be aware and inspect the bike very carefully. I later complained to the guy in the store and they refused to acknowledge the issue.
