Epic Ride Through the Hills Between Scicli and Modica!

I absolutely loved my ride with Sicily Bike Routes and my guide, Claudio. It was everything I hoped for: a wonderful mix of gravel and tarmac, some challenging climbs, and spectacular views.
We rode through the hills between Scicli and Modica and stopped along the way to greet local farmers harvesting carob pods. I can’t wait to return and do this ride again, hopefully a bit longer next time, when I have more strength in my legs!

An amazing experience - highly recommended! Rafaelle is such a knowledgeable and friendly guide/host. I learned so much about the land, history, people, culture, and food of Sicily. The scenery is gorgeous, and Rafaelle was happy to stop anywhere along the way to explore an old farmhouse, take pictures, or examine the many plants and fruits growing near the roads. Our stop at a local cheese producer to try their cheeses was incredible - if you're a cheese lover don't miss this!

My bike was in good condition and the ride was comfortable, with just a few hills that will be easy for anyone with a decent level of fitness.

This was the absolute highlight of my trip to Sicily! Thank you Rafaelle!

Sicily Bike Routes was great! I booked an evening guided bike ride and the logistics of coordinating everything were smooth and the ride was really nice! The team met us at our hotel, prepared our bikes, and led us on a really nice ride throughout the Noto region. Claudio and Esther were great guides and made the experience very enjoyable! Would recommend!

I stayed with family in a villa in the middle of nowhere, and rented a mountain bike from Sicily Bike Routes for a few days. The service was excellent, they provided a great bike and managed to find the villa for collection and delivery even though it was very remote! Thanks Raffaele and Claudio for an excellent service, I will definitely use you again next time I'm in Sicily!

We hebben vanuit Nederland bij Sicily Bike Routes vier E-bike gehuurd via email. De communicatie liep goed met Raffaele. Hij verzorgde voor ons ook een route over mooie en stille wegen van circa 50 km op ons verzoek. Je krijgt deze dan op je google maps. Erg handig. Je betaalt daar wel € 20,00 voor. Je moet ook 30% aanbetalen, maar er is soort van annuleringsregeling. De fietsen waren in prima staat, en de route was heel erg leuk om te rijden.
Ik beveel Sicily Bike Routes van harte aan. Het is een betrouwbaar bedrijf.

Following a recommendation from friends, we hired bikes in Noto, and did a self guided route (approx 45k) into the hills and countryside which was fantastic. We stopped at a Winery/Agriturismo recommended which was the icing on the cake of a perfect day. Raffaele was brilliant, communicated well in advance and on they day, delivered the bikes, ensured we had everything we needed, and kept in touch throughout. Nothing was too much trouble and I really appreciated the care and attentionm The bikes were brilliant and very well maintained. I would highly recommend Sicily Bike Routes and am looking forward to returning and maybe going on a longer trip! Thanks for a great day.

Highly recommend connecting with Raffaele Pluchino for all the options available for an amazing guided tour. Easy, very informative communication and when we finally met, found him to be very personable and helpful. He picked us up, set us up on very good quality e-bikes and then introduced us to Claudio! Can’t say enough about him, very friendly, engaging, fun, passionate and knowledgeable about the area and in Sicilian life in general.
