This was the most lovely bike experience we ever had as a family. The owner is a very kind person and showed us a nice route along the coast. Afterwards he even dropped us at a restaurant near the beach.
The adult bikes are of high quality!!! For kids there are not as many bikes and they are older, but it still serve everyone’s need for a daily experience :)

Hatte mir ein bike für n paar Stunden gemietet. War auf Kreuzfahrt mit MSC . Ich brauchte mal n paar Stunden Ruhe und Zeit allein. Stefano ist ein herzlicher, offener und unglaublich sympathischer Typ. Auch ohne englisch und deutsch Kenntnisse klappt die Verständigung. Mein Rad war fast neu , ebenso der Helm. Er hatte schon für mich eine Route aufgezeichnet. Einfach TOP dieser Typ. Ich arbeite im Reisebüro und werde Stefano meinen Kunden für individuelle Touren empfehlen. DANKE Stefano, GERN WIEDER!

Don't be fooled by the somewhat odd location and small size of Fon.Bike store. If you are into bicycles, bike riding and you are looking for someone to help you put together the planning and execution of your next outing in the area, look no further: call Stefano - the owner - and let him and his team take care of your needs. You will be surprised by Stefano's knowledge (of cycling, as well as the history, culture and nearby environment), courtesy, flexibility and deep rooted customer care.
Stefano and Fon.Bike were able to organize for us a daily outing in Tuscany, to follow part of the Eroica's bike competition from Gaiole in Chianti to Siena and back. Fon.Bike took care of procuring good quality rental gravel bikes and making sure they were well setup for our measures and bicycling approach. Then Stefano picked us up and drove us to Gaiole in Chianti (and back) and followed us for the whole day, taking time to help us fully understand the history and culture of that Tuscan area. And, if that was not enough, Stefano even managed to include a few special guests (the creator of Eroica and the first winner of the pro edition), which made the all experience unique and truly precious!
Just a little heads up, if you don't speak Italian, get ready to either use Google translator or switch to the gestures based version of Italian language (you can find videos on YouTube to get you started with it), yet that just makes the whole experience even funnier and enjoyable!

Over expensive 😱. 30€ for normal bike for one day. It is 15€ for a nice mountain bike in Rome center. Exaggerated. I don't recommend .
This was the answer : I'm sorry, Civitavecchia is beautiful even on foot.

Netter Besitzer, der uns gute Routen Tipps gegeben hat. Zudem bekamen wir für unsere Mountainbikes Ersatzschläuche und Reparaturmaterial. Die Mountainbikes sind schon älter, aber dem Preis entsprechend und in gutem Zustand. Wir würden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen.

I phoned the number on the shop door and the proprietor was there in 5 Min. He is tech savy - overcame any coms issues using a translate app. I had 2 small kids with me - we were away on bikes that worked just fine in quick time. I stuffed up the bike return, they took it in their stride and we solved the issue inside 10 min so I could get back on the Ship in time. They seem to have a big range of bikes. I cannot recommend them highly enough. Thanks very much for a good hiring / riding experience!

I booked a private bike tour with Maurice for the day when my ship was in port in Civitivecchia. We had a lovely day spending time around the city along the shore line and in and around the historic town.
The bike tour was great value and I would totally recommend you book a tour with Maurice when you’re in harbour and you’re wanting to immerse yourself and enjoy a local experience.

We had a great experience renting 4 mountain bikes for a day, at the last minute. The owner, Stefano, couldn't have been more friendly, helpful and enthusiastic. While we had some difficulty with language as he does not speak English and we did not speak Italian, he was very good with Google Translate. He gave us some good riding route suggestions and even drove our group to a local trail head to start our ride. He let us drop off the bikes after hours and seemed truly appreciative of the business. I hope to return for another bike and/or food tour with him before we leave if we can fit it in! Highly recommended.

Very friendly. Gave us a good suggestion to ride to Tarquinia to see the tombs and the city. Had a great day, rode about 45 km. Did not speak much English, but we had a lot of fun with google translate.
