Notre location de vélos électriques fut un des moments forts de notre séjour sur la côte amalfitaine. Quelle belle expérience ce fut!

Nous avions fait une réservation pour le 3 juin et avions complété tous les papiers avec Linda la veille au soir : nous logions juste à côté et ça nous permettait de récupérer et de profiter des vélos plus rapidement le jour prévu. Pour ceux qui n’auraient jamais fait de vélo électrique, Linda fourni toutes les explications et s’assure que nous sommes bien à l’aise. Elle sait nous mettre en confiance.

Le matin du 3 juin, les conditions météo avaient changé et c’est Linda qui nous a très gentiment proposé de changer notre date de location - nous avons grandement apprécié sa flexibilité!

Se déplacer le long de la côte à vélo est tout simplement merveilleux. On peut facilement se rendre de Minori à Positano bien qu’il faille faire preuve de prudence car la route est étroite et on la partage avec les autobus, les voitures et les motos de tous genres. Ça permet une belle flexibilité : on peut arrêter où on veut!

Je recommande fortement cette expérience!

If you are on the Amalfi Coast, do yourself a favour and rent ebikes from Black Lemon. Linda and her family are amazing people who professional and care about their customers. Their ebikes are a fantastic way to see the coast that avoids the nightmare of finding parking. The ebikes are high quality with a good daily range. Linda provides excellent suggestions and service as well.

PERFECT for the Amalfi Coast. This experience was truly more enjoyable, affordable, and care free than renting vespas or scooters. Linda was incredibly knowledgeable, helpful, and generous. She treated us like family… and our safety was her number one priority. The bikes were great - as I traveled from Minori to the Fiordo di Furore in 30 minutes, while stopping to take pictures along the way. This is the best activity when coming to the Amalfi coast. HIGHLY recommended.

We had an amazing experience with Black Lemon E-Bikes during our time on the Amalfi Coast! It’s a wonderful family business run by Linda and her husband Dino, and they were both incredibly kind, helpful, and professional.

We rented e-bikes for €45 per day and loved them so much we kept them for two days in a row. The bikes were in perfect condition and honestly became the absolute highlight of our entire trip. They were the best way to get around, we didn’t have to worry about paid parking, fueling, or the odd/even driving day restrictions. It made exploring the coast easy, stress-free, and unforgettable.

What really stood out was their incredible service. Dino personally dropped the bikes off for us at the port in Maiori where we were staying, even though it’s a city over from Minori. On top of that, when my friend Brian’s seat came loose and my foot slipped off while biking uphill, which broke my right pedal, Dino came all the way to Positano on his Vespa to fix and replace everything for us. That level of care and dedication is rare and truly appreciated.

Highly recommend Black Lemon E-Bikes if you’re visiting the Amalfi Coast, amazing people, great prices, and outstanding service!

At first, our idea was to rent Vespas along the Coast, but we discovered that electric bikes, besides offering more range and being more economical, were a total craze there. We found Bike Lemon through the recommendation of a local bike mechanic in Maiori.

When we arrived at Bike Lemon, we were welcomed by Linda and her husband. We were a bit hesitant to take the risk after all, there were so many steep curves but Linda’s patience, care, attention, and almost motherly kindness made us feel completely at ease. She supported us, was incredibly helpful and attentive, and even answered our questions via WhatsApp whenever we needed. Honestly, not even in Brazil, where customer service is usually very attentive, have we ever been treated with such genuine care as we were by her.

May your life be long and prosperous so that many more travelers have the chance to meet you, Linda!

I could’t recommend Black Lemon E-bikes enough! Linda was by far the nicest person we’ve met in Italy. She went out of her way to accommodate our needs despite not booking a day in advance, and she even gave a discount due to her not feeling the best during our interaction. Great time riding E-Bikes to Positano and back. Black Lemon made it super easy to pick up and drop off at a convenient location put 50km on the bikes without draining the battery. It would be nice if the clamps for the seat adjustment worked better but all in all a great time was had. Thanks

Truly an incredible experience.

One of my greatest highlights from my trip to Italy and Amalfi was renting the e-bike, not only because of how fun and easy it was to get around, along with how attentive Black Lemon was… delivering the bike, following up and making sure all my needs were met, though more so, it was having the great gift and privilege of meeting the people who run Black Lemon… genuinely good and kind people. This was a great experience not only in Italy, though in my life, that I will always remember and cherish.
This review is special because it’s beyond the business itself, or the experience of the business, the technicality and/or logistics.. it’s about people.
And this is what businesses need and the world needs, genuinely good people who are not in it for the mere business but for people, genuinely caring and connecting with people.
I was so touched by Linda’s attentiveness, care, her openness and making me feel more than a customer or client, I felt like a friend and family!
Although there can be many businesses that run well, I believe a business goes above and beyond when the foundation is genuine good and kind human beings.
Because of this experience, I left Amalfi with a full heart, and even greater experiences that go beyond exploring, seeing the views and beauty by bike, it was the gift of connecting to good people with good hearts.
