Cypress roads and medieval towns: Val d'Orcia by e-bike

A fantastic ride through the heart of Val d'Orcia. Sweeping valley views, cypress-lined roads and quiet back roads with hardly any traffic, plus some gravel stretches. We stopped in charming medieval towns like San Quirico d'Orcia and Pienza. The hardtail e-bikes were in good condition and coped well with the gravel, and the battery held up easily on the hills. A medium fitness level is plenty. Steffie, the owner, recommended the Tuscan Dream tour, and it was the perfect highlight of our time in Tuscany, with fantastic views all the way. Highly recommended!

Stephanie who runs this business is very professional and good at what she does!! Make sure you reach out to reserve a bike because they might not have any left to rent. The first day we hadn’t reserved but she was able to come at noon and accommodate what we needed. She also gave us details and an app to use to find out where to go. We liked it so much we reserved for the next day. Thank you for a wonderful e-bike experience. I highly recommend this company

The bike shop owner Steffi is so great and really helpful for everything.

The eBike is really easy to use.

From beginning, she asked my detail info in order to provide the eBike which is going to fit me very well.

On the day when I test my eBike, she make sure everything is right and check everything for me.

I am a solo travelor, she concerned I might get lost , she set up a thing on my eBike , so she can trace where I am in case something happened, she can come to help me out.

On my way to return to eBike shop, she was waiting on side of road to make sure everything will go smoothly since I am going to catch the bus to florence.

She even brought me to bus stop make sure I can arrive Florence on time.

Four of us rented ebikes for a self guided ride using the app and followed the Tuscan Dream Tour. And it lived up to its name as we bicycled thru beautiful fields and countryside... What you dream about for Tuscany. The tour goes thru the village of San Giorgio a Lapi ... a truly authentic Italian village perfect for a lunch stop.

As for Steffi herself, I cannot say enough in praise
From my first contact with her months ago I felt like I was talking with an old friend. She was very responsive, flexible, trusting and certainly knowledgeable about what she does. But most importantly she is passionate about her business, her customers and her home area. She was all smiles and welcoming when we arrived, and made sure we were properly outfitter and comfortable with the bikes as we would be on our own. For me this was a highlight of our Tuscan vacation! Grazie mille, Steffi!

Brilliant company. Super supportive, friendly and caring. Great bikes - we had such a brilliant day.

We did a 90km gravel ride around some of the small villages and towns - a combination of gravel, rocky off-road and some tarmac - perfect way to spend the day.

We are usually road cyclists (and sometimes gravel) but heard only positive things about e-biking in Tuscany. So worth it for a full day out enjoying the sights without having to worry about running out of steam.

We enjoyed an unexpected nice experience in Pienza. On a small parkingplace we found Steffi with a wide range of very good e-mountainbikes for a fair price. Even cheaper when we decided for a two day rent. She offers attractive tracks and apps to enjoy the breathtaking Toscany landscape of Val d'Orcia.Thanks for the perfect service and answers to our questions during the rent. And......of course special thanks for picking one of us up in a remote village with a flat tire en for bringing to the campsite with your van.
