I cycled with this excellent specialist tour company in Sicily in October, and was very impressed. Our guide on trip MWY251019 was charming, very knowledgable about the history and traditions of his country and kept us safe and entertained all week. We have urged him to write a travel book as he is a mine of information.

Davide is the most amazing tour leader in the world. We’ve been on many tours and no one is quite like him. Caring, funny, organized, customer service oriented, full of wisdom about the area and cycling, patient, witty, a great listener and planner. The trip would have been far different were it not for him as he made the experience unforgettable. The restaurants he chose were fantastic. The driver, Sebi, was also wonderful, always smiling, caring and catering to what we needed included keeping us alive (sometimes behind us and sometimes by stopping traffic for us and always by helping to keep our bikes maintained).
The hotels were fine. Some of them downright beautiful. The agriturissimo was peaceful and a lovely local stay. The one thing I would change is the hotel the last night - tiny rooms, outside town, loud and uncomfortable. They’ve recently done upgrades but a lot of things were literally stuck together with bubblegum and shoestring.

Just been on a 7 day cycling tour of Southern Sicily. There were 16 of us on the trip. I have been on 5 cycling holidays and this was by far the best. Sicily itself is breathtakingly beautiful but what made the trip extra special was our tour guide Davide. He is a natural leader and goes out of his way to ensure each person is treated as an individual. His passion and knowledge of Sicily is incredible plus his sense of humour made us laugh every day. He went above and beyond to make this trip exceptional and worked tirelessly to ensure every day was perfectly planned. His choice of restaurants was always of the highest standard and his knowledge of each town we visited was outstanding. We have totally fallen in love with this part of Southern Sicily and will be back next year especially if Davide is still tour leader. What a wonderful time we had!

Our guide for the trip was Davide, a native Sicilian who was knowledgeable and passionate about his country. As with most guides used by exodus, he had much local knowledge and was keen to share it with the group. He shepherded us around the trip, giving each what they wanted without fuss, whilst pointing out the marvels of the countryside. He was obviously well known and liked at all of our coffee and lunch breaks, as well as at the restaurants for our evening meals. Davide was a very effective, kind, and professional guide with a passion for English idioms!

June 2025 - an awesome 7 day tour with Davide an amazing tour leader. He was knowledgeable on every city/ village we stopped in. Lots of interesting stories to keep us entertained. Safety was of great importance. Back up van was driven by Sebi who as always smiling and guiding us at intersections. Highly recommend Ciclofree for your next adventure.

Fantastic group cycling tour of south-eastern Sicily. Well maintained and reliable manual and ebikes, excellent organization and leadership by Davide, supported by an ever smiling Sebby in the back up van. Great attention to safety on the road without detracting from the overall enjoyment of the experience. Comfortable hotels, fab food, beautiful scenery and wildlife. Fascinating and varied history, stunning architecture and ancient sites with lots of interesting facts and explanations by Davide, whose enthusiasm for sharing knowledge about his country shone through. A slick and professionally run tour. Highly recommended for anyone who can handle a bike. If you don't like hills maybe go for an ebike.. you'll still love it 😊.

Great guide , wonderful , varied itinerary on comfortable , easy to use electric bikes - the whole route was very manageable for a decidedly ‘ fair weather’ cyclist . Davide’s attention to detail and enthusiasm about his part of Sicily was impressive. I enjoyed every minute !!! Can you set up a similar trip in North Sicily please ???🙂

Just completed cycling in scicily. Our guide Davide was exemplary. His kindness, care, knowledge and love of scicily helped to make our trip so enjoyable. The support van driven by Sebbe was such a help providing water, fruit and at times direction. We all made it to the end without any bike issues, they were great bikes, reliable and comfortable and charged each night by our guide. My first trip on an electric bike, with most members of the group doing the same. Davide was very respectful of those cycling on manual bikes and we all cheered those as they arrived back with the group many times. The scenery was beautiful as were the towns we visited. With Davide sharing his historical knowledge with us which was fascinating and a great insight into Scicily’s past. We dined each night as a group and enjoyed some lovely food at restaurants carefully selected and booked by Davide. I would definitely use this organisation again as I feel comfortable knowing that our safety and enjoyment are paramount. Thank you so much for a great trip.

We enjoyed our e-bike tour of southeastern Sicily immensely. Davide Di Mauro, our tour guide, was enthusiastically passionate and knowledgeable about “his” corner of Sicily. His sense of humor and attention to group safety and trip details was refreshing. So much history! Amazing food! Highly recommend this tour.
