Schon mehrfach Bikes ausgeliehen und Shuttles gebucht. Die Räder waren einwandfrei die Organisation hat gut geklappt, die Leute superfreundlich.

⚠️ DO NOT RECOMMEND! DANGEROUS! (Riva del Garda)

Both e-bikes BROKE DOWN during our 35km ride - electric assist failed, had to drag heavy bikes through mountains.

Bikes lack basic safety equipment: no lights, reflectors, or kickstands. Riding through tunnels is playing with your life.

Owner (tall, thin man in green shirt) accused US of breaking the bikes, called us liars despite video evidence. When I mentioned writing a negative review - he started THREATENING that he has my card data and "plenty of lawyers".

Rude attitude + faulty equipment + customer threats = worst service in Italy.

If you don't want to be stranded in mountains with dead bikes and get threatened instead of apologies - AVOID THIS PLACE!

A brilliant bicycle shop. We've hired bikes here every time we visit Riva. The service is exceptional. Carlo, Andrea and Sylvia are so helpful regarding professional advice for all levels of cycling skill and needs. They advise on the most suitable bicycles and routes for your requirements.
The equipment is superb. We've hired non-electric and electric. When we went electric we won't change. It's perfect. The prices are very fair. The shop itself is gorgeous, full of accessories clothing and bicycles.
The business is run with flair, passion and professionalism. We love it.

Das Licht hinten am Fahrrad ging leider nicht, was bei den ganzen Tunnel nicht so sicher ist ..
Die Ketten müssten zudem öfters geölt werden
Ansonsten war alles super und man kann mit den Rennrädern gut eine Runde um den Gardasee fahren

Die Bremse meines Cannondale Gravelbikes war fest, was ich mangels Werkzeug und Teilen nicht selbst fixen konnte. Ich rief spontan bei Garda Bike an, durfte mein Bike sofort vorbeibringen und konnte es nach einem Tag schon wieder abholen. Preis für neue SRAM Pads und Bremsenservice (Bremsflüssigkeit neu) auch absolut OK & üblich. Großartig! Außerdem noch einen netten Plausch mit dem fahrradbegeisterten Inhaber geführt und sicher nicht das letzte Mal hier gewesen.

Auf der Transalp Durchreise verabschiedet sich mein tubeless. Zudem musste die Kette getauscht werden. Ich wurde im Garda bike sofort fachmännisch bedient! Super!

Terrible Service for an Expensive Price

I made an online reservation the night before I planned to go cycling. When I arrived at Garda Bike Shop, they couldn’t find my booking in their system. After some confusion, we eventually sorted it out and found a bike for me.

However, when it came time to pay, they insisted on keeping my physical credit card as a security deposit for the bike rental. My card was at the hotel several kilometers away, and I didn’t want to waste more time going back to get it — especially not for a mediocre bike that already cost €49 for 9 hours, which is by far the most I’ve ever paid for such a short rental (and I’ve rented bikes in many places). After some negotiation, we agreed that I could leave my car key as security instead, since I had parked nearby.

The mechanic then started preparing the bike with pedals, but the process took forever because he prioritized other customers who had arrived after me, helping them with inner tubes and parts instead. When I finally got on the bike, the gears didn’t work properly. I had to return to the shop again, and the mechanic made a quick adjustment, which helped slightly — but the shifting still wasn’t good, and the drivetrain was extremely noisy. I gave up trying to get it fixed again because I just wanted to ride.

When I came back a few hours later to return the bike, the shop was closed in the middle of the day, and since they had my car key, I couldn’t move my car — which had now overstayed its parking time. I was stuck, unable to leave, and at risk of getting a parking fine.

Overall, the experience was frustrating from start to finish. Poor service, unreasonable security demands, badly maintained equipment, and overpriced rentals.

Hatten Probleme mit unserem Thule Fahrradträger. Der Shopmitarbeiter und Thule haben uns freundlich, schnell und kompetent weiter geholfen. Das Problem wurde umgehend gelöst.
