We had a lovely afternoon messing about on the water at Lake Orta. Sara explained everything about the boat clearly, and off we went! Four hours was the perfect amount of time to cruise around the lake, stop to take in the views, and jump in for a swim. It’s best to book in advance. A small note of advice: the boat ladder is quite short, so it helps to be fairly nimble getting back on board. All in all, a fantastic experience — thank you, Sara!

Bar, top! Locatie top! Maar wees gewaarschuwd als je een elektrische waterfiets huurt. Je kunt alleen maar door te fietsen de elektrische motor aansturen en als je een uur huurt dan is de batterij na 35min leeg. En lig je stuurloos op het meer. Mij dus overkomen vandaag. Vervolgens zoek je contact omdat je ‘gered’ wilt worden en krijg ik de schuld van de man daar dat ik de motor oververhit zou hebben. Ik heb gewoon 35 min zitten fietsen om vooruit te komen en toen was de batterij leeg. Stuurloos midden op het meer en ik werd beschuldigd. Pas op! Dit wil je niet met kleine kinderen! Boek geen elektrische waterfiets (Ceclo)! Uiteindelijk ben ik door een aardige mevrouw wel opgehaald met de auto waar ik aan wal was ‘aangespoeld’
