Hôtel très bien, à 15mn à pied du centre, à 5mn d'un embarcadère pour les îles Borromées, ne pas hésiter à réserver une place de parking (très difficile de se garer autour des lacs).

Fijne grote kamers met een lekker balkon. Heel divers en uitgebreid ontbijt. Lekker zwembad.

Aircondition op moet wel schoongemaakt worden, want erg vochtig in de kamer. Plus de koelkast werkt niet.

Verder lekker ruim en schoon, aan het eind van het centrum.

Very disappointed with our stay here. We knew that it was a three star hotel when we booked, but there are somethings you expect. We arrived about two hours before check in time. Room not yet ready - no problem. But there was nowhere to get a drink or food in the hotel as the bar and restaurant were closed. We had to out to get a cup of coffee and water. Parking was a nightmare. We were allocated space number two, but nearly every time we returned to the hotel there was a car parked in our space. So we had to find parking in an unnumbered space. One on occasion we arrived back at the hotel to find our space 'empty' but the cars on either side encroached a bit and the car opposite was so far out we couldn't even attempt to get into our space. We were charged 15 euros a night for parking on site. Food was disappointing. Breakfast was the same limited choice every day. No cheese selection and the same hot food are just two examples. We only had one evening meal, on our first night. On paper it looks good, but in practice it was not. Starters were a buffet (similar to the breakfast choice), the first course that we opted for was a lasagne as it was possible the only thing we would like. A mistake as one of us couldn't finish theirs. We skipped the next course. The desert wasn't anything worth remembering. The charge was 35 euros each (no drink included). Our room was good - otherwise this would be a one star review. A odd thing here was that there was a kettle and rea bags (no coffee or milk) in the room.
