Had stayed here twice before when restaurant was al a carte, but now buffet style, plenty of choice but the nightly show cooking meat was pork on 4 days in the week, needs more variety for meat. Other items were often not hot enough. Was difficult at times to get someone to serve you a drink in evening or coffee at breakfast. Swimming pool area was lovely. Rooms comfortable enough with view of the pool.
Personale disponibile e cortese. Consigliate per coppie giovani, famiglie e in età matura.

We have just returned from our 3rd holiday at Lake Garda and Hotel La Perla.
This hotel is perfectly located just on the outskirts of the town centre and a few minutes away from the bus station and lake itself.
Refurbished a couple of years ago, the whole hotel is fresh and clean.
The swimming pool is a wonderful feature, I'm not sure I've found better in all my travels over the years.
The situation is half board, buffet style for both breakfast and dinner, with plenty of choice. Quality is top notch as you would expect from the culinary experts the Italians. Wine, soft drinks and water are provided too, a nice bonus on half board.
Finally, the service from the reception staff, waiting staff, bar staff and cleaning staff is excellent. Not one staff member will walk past you without engaging and wishing you good day. The staff give the impression that they love working at this hotel. A special mention to Paulo, a waiter in the dining room, who couldn't do enough for us, so polite and with a smile on his face.
I give this hotel 5 stars and fully recommend it.
Dear Alan, thank you so much for sharing such a wonderful review and for choosing Hotel La Perla for your Lake Garda holidays — not once, but three times! 🌟 We’re delighted to hear that you continue to enjoy our location and our swimming pool, which is often a highlight for our guests. Most of all, we’re touched by your kind words about our team. Your mention of Paulo will certainly be passed along, we know it will mean a lot to him. We’ll be thrilled to welcome you back anytime for your next Lake Garda adventure. Warm regards, Nicoletta Mauceri – Hotel Manager
Just returned from hotel La Perla in Garda. Hotel pretty basic but spotless. Rooms on the small side but everything you need. Food really good but limited menu. Breakfast excellent. Like to give Sanaa and Morgana a mention as always a smile in the morning and good eggs cooked as you like them. The waiters at evening meal also excellent especially Paolo, Juan and Damian couldn’t do enough for you. Hotel in great location. Across the road from bus station and 10 min walk to ferry terminal. You can upgrade to pool view room. We didn’t as don’t spend much time in room plus weather very rainy when we were there from 20th to 27th September so hardly sat in balcony.
Would recommend this hotel as value for money.
Dear Annabel, thank you for sharing your impressions of your recent stay with us. We’re delighted to hear that you found the hotel spotless and well located, and that you enjoyed the food. Your kind words for our staff will make them very happy, as it means a lot to our team when their efforts are noticed. We’re sorry the weather wasn’t on your side this time, but we’re glad it didn’t stop you from enjoying your holiday. We truly appreciate your recommendation and would be very happy to welcome you back to Hotel La Perla anytime.
Warm regards, Nicoletta Mauceri – Hotel Manager
Dear Michał, thank you for taking the time to share your detailed feedback. While we’re glad you chose Hotel La Perla for your stay in Garda, we are truly sorry to hear that several aspects of your experience fell short of expectations. Your comments regarding breakfast, room comfort, and cleanliness have been carefully noted. These are not the standards we strive to maintain, and your observations will be shared with our team for immediate attention. We truly hope you might give us another opportunity in the future to provide you with a more comfortable and enjoyable stay. Warm regards, Nicoletta Mauceri – Hotel Manager
We visited this hotel 17-24th September. On arrival the check in was quick and reception very welcoming. I had emailed the hotel to ask for a room with a lake view and was not disappointed. This came as an extra cost of 10 euros per night. The room was small but adequate storage and clean. Tea making facilities available. Fresh milk available from the bar.|We were allocated a table for dinner for the duration of our stay. We had no problem with this but many others did not get the same table. Food at dinner was good and always fresh salads pasta station and a few main dishes available. There did seem to be a lot of pork dishes cooked in various ways. I thought that there should be more chicken dishes served. Desserts were delicious. Red and white wine available free of charge with your meal which was pleasant and soft drinks and water. Breakfast was really good with lots of choice.|The majority of the staff were very friendly with the exception of one or two who didn’t smile. The lady serving the eggs was our favourite member of staff in the restaurant and the girls serving behind the bar at night were very pleasant. Drinks are a reasonable price with cocktails averaging around 7-8 euros.|The swimming pool is accessed through a tunnel a very short walk from the hotel. |There were singers on a couple of nights who were very good.|The hotel is in a good location near to the bus station and a 5 minute walk to the lake. The buses are very busy and a bit of a free for all with certain nationalities who don’t believe in queuing. Staff in the ticket office are very helpful. Ferries available if preferred. Go early to get tickets as long queues sometimes.|Just a couple of small areas for improvement. The hairdryer in the room cut out after 30 seconds of use. Either take your own or ask reception for the use of one. Decaffeinated coffee is not served anywhere in the hotel which I find odd in a 4* hotel. Had a word with Nicolette the very nice manager who said thank you for my feedback.|I would not hesitate to recommend La Perla for a lovely holiday.
Great stay from start to finish. 2 minutes walk from the lake, 5 minutes to the ferry terminal with lots of local shops, a supermarket and restaurants along the way. |Room was on the small size but who wants to sit in their room when in Italy! Cleaned every day, safe and fridge in the room too plus tea and coffee; a bit more hanging space would be appreciated but a minor niggle. Good size bathroom with plenty of hot water.|3 star hotel so was a bit wary of the food quality but it was excellent; the pasta lady was amazing. Good choice with a couple of themed evenings thrown in. The restaurant staff were particularly organised and friendly which really makes a difference. You keep the same evening table for the week which we liked as none of that 'is anyone sitting here'? scenario. |Pool area was quiet, towels provided with a pool bag too so some nice extra touches.|We spent out time hopping on the ferry to different towns although the town next along to Garda is walkable (3KL) plus a day trip to the Dolomites.|Overall, a great stay so thank you to all at La Perla.
As a group of female friends, we go away each year for a week. We agreed ,that this was one of our favourite hotels and holidays.|The hotel is ideal, located in a quiet location on the outskirts of the town so you can relax by the pool in peace, but within a couple of minutes walking distance to the fabulous shops, bars and restaurants as well as obviously the beautiful Lake Garda.|All the staff at this hotel are exceptional, friendly and helpful and a credit to the manager, who herself was also welcoming and eager to help and hear our feedback.|We found the food to be really good with various theme nights and a good selection of high quality dishes.|The pool, although a little cold, is a great area with lovely views over the mountains and with a great pool bar and again helpful staff who go as far as bringing round complimentary water melon each afternoon, which was a lovely touch.|The main hotel bar was again comfortable and well stocked. There was a couple of evenings where they put on light music on the terrace and again they went beyond expectations with complimentary canapés.|All in all, this was a great week away with lots to see and do and this friendly and comfortable hotel made an ideal and relaxing base for our adventures.
Wouldn’t hesitate to thoroughly recommend this gem of a hotel. Location is perfect- right in the middle of Garda town, very close to the lake and round the corner from the bus station.|Swimming pool is fabulous and in a beautiful area surrounded by mountain views and gardens.|Rooms are spotless and cleaned everyday. Staff are all very friendly and helpful.|Food is beautiful with plenty of choice. Offering complimentary drinks with your evening meal is a lovely touch.|We travelled as a couple and had the most wonderful holiday in this very beautiful part of the world. |Can’t wait to return. Thank you La Perla, your efforts are very much appreciated.
We spent a week at this hotel and can’t fault it. The staff are all very friendly, helpful and attentive. Special thanks to Paolo in the restaurant who was amazing every day, service with a smile and nothing was too much trouble! He has a great rapport with the guests and is a real asset to La Perla. ||Location wise it’s across the road from the bus station, a few minutes walk from the supermarket and lake front and just a ten minute walk to the ferry terminal. ||The rooms are spotless, cleaned every day, well equipped with a fridge and kettle and although some reviews say they are small we found we had ample drawers, shelves and hanging space. Beach towels are provided and come in a handy bag to take to the pool. ||The pool area is lovely, clean and very well maintained with plenty of seating, sun loungers and parasols. The swimming pool is huge so never felt overcrowded. The poolside bar has a good selection of drinks and snacks and you can order directly from your lounger. ||The restaurant hosts a breakfast and evening buffet. Breakfast includes, meats, cheese, fresh bread, pastries, fresh fruit, cereal, granola, yogurt, eggs (boiled, fried or scrambled), bacon, sausage, beans, mushrooms, made to order omelettes. You help yourself to tea or can have fresh coffee brought to your table. Evening meals were varied, there was always a roast option (beef, turkey, pork), the fish selection was great, lots of salad items, pasta and pizza. Desserts were amazing every night, loved the tiramisu, chocolate pana cotta and cheesecake plus there was always vanilla, strawberry and chocolate icecream! Drinks are also included, (red and white wine, soft drinks and water)
Wonderful stay, hotel did not disappoint. Spotlessly clean. Lovely pool. Great staff.|Food was great we were half board, everything you would want for breakfast with good fresh coffee. Plenty choice for diner, thank you to the Lady who regularly serves at the pasta counter, appreciated her helping me choose and avoid fish lol. Plenty choice and very tasty. Deserts were amazing. Wine also with meal was very good. Waiting staff were very nice Hafta and Nicole always made us welcome, thank you.|Suggested ice cream would be nice on a feedback form, not as a complaint just a suggestion. Notice a review said it was available now, 👍|Would definetly recommend, we didn't feel the need to eat out for evening meal, plenty variety. Hotel close to town and lake.|Had a great week.
