My husband and I had a fabulous time in Cortona! Federica planned the most wonderful activities and all of our transportation! Every encounter we had was warm, friendly and professional! Our stay was magical and included a cooking class with Glenda where we made had made pasta and the best tiramisu we’ve ever had. The following day we had a wine tour with expert wine sommelier Francesco, where he took us to three unique wineries and taught us about culture, wine & food. We can’t wait to go back!

My family and I spent the day with Francesco tasting wine at La Braccesca and Talia wineries and exploring the ancient city of Montepulciano. From the very start, he set the tone for a relaxed, engaging, and deeply enriching experience. A wonderful conversationalist with a warm and welcoming presence, Francesco shared his passion and deep knowledge of wine in a way that was both educational and enjoyable.

His close relationships with the local vineyards gave us access to truly special tastings — each wine accompanied by stories of the land, the people, and the traditions that shaped it. With an exceptional nose and refined palate, he guided us through nuanced flavors and aromas that brought the wines to life in a whole new way.

We were also impressed by how clearly and comfortably Francesco communicated in English, which made the entire experience seamless and even more enjoyable. Most amazing guide. Delicious pure and unique tasty wines. Great weather with sun and comfortable temperatures. Tasting food and lunch were just right. View of the countryside and history of both wine and Tuscan civilization were captivating. I learned many things about fine tuning my senses for appreciation of the flavors and how to use my words to describe said flavors within each wine and how much tender loving care goes into each bottle of wine from tending to the soil and the plant to choosing the wood of the barrel to knowing what grape does best in single versus double fermentation
I will never taste a wine the same again!!

Francesco is not a driver. He creates a day long experience which you will never forget. He blends perfectly 50% sommelier education, 25% global dialogue, and 25% humor. We visited three wineries with Francesco - La Braccesca, Baldetti, and Iviti - and at each one we had a “behind the scenes” experience and education of the region, facility, process, owners/family and wine. It was a day we will never forget and can only say perfect things about Francesco and Do It in Tuscany.

Francesco made our wine tour worth every penny. An intimate experience where he shared his plethora of knowledge on wine, tasting, and what makes quality. My husband and I agree that this was a top highlight of our entire trip! We really felt that he was invested in our experience, how much we already knew about wine, and was fully present throughout the tour! The meeting point was easy to get to, and he even dropped us off at our accommodation at the end of the tour. 10/10 recommend Francesco for your experience!

We had the best day wine tasing with Francesco!! We went to three different wineries that were all great and unique (including an amazing lunch and GORGEOUS views). Francesco had answers to all our questions and provided such good info about the winemaking process. Overall 10/10 experience and would very much recommend! It’s still early in our trip but so far this is definitely a highlight!

My wife and I did a Tuscan wine tour with Francesco. He was prompt and waiting for us well before the scheduled pickup time. His vehicle is clean and comfortable and he's a competent driver. His knowledge of the area and wine added greatly to our pleasurable experience. Altogether, we had an absolutely wonderful time and it was a key highlight of our whole 15 day trip to Italy.
