Výstup na vrchol vulkánu ETNA je nejlepší z parkoviště Rifugio Sapienza. Nejrychlejší cesta na vrchol je lanovka a pak terénním autobusem. Na kráter se pak jde s průvodcem asi 1,5km. Bez průvodce se tam nemůžete dostat. Kráter je stále “horký”. Počasí se tam mění každých 30 vteřin. Chce to pevnou obuv se vzorkem, ne plochou podrážku, mikinu, bundu s kapucí a čepici. Bez toho se tam ani nevydávejte. Celý tento trip je nejdražší a nepohodlnější - pro 1 osobu 80€. Výstup má ale mnoho dalších variant a všechny jsou levnější. Etnu stojí opravdu za to navštívit. Pocítíte neuvěřitelnou sílu přírody a absolutní bezmoc člověka. Jestli se “Etna” rozhodne vybouchnout nic a nikdo ji nezastaví a láva zničí vše kam se dostane. To vše také uvidíte a zažijete. Je to nezapomenutelný zážitek.👍

Very chaotic and disorganized. First contact via WhatsApp chat was convenient and I have booked two bikes for the following day via email as requested by them. We were told the pick up time and to bring the deposit when arriving. But the day when we arrived all the way up at the Etna Station the bikes were not available and we were told to wait half an hour to get our bikes. Finally when the guide arrived he told us that our reservation is not valid and that no bikes are available at all. He admitted that it was their fault but was not even trying to make an effort to find a solution for us.

The cableway ticket is quite pricey and you have to but an extra bus ticket if you dont want to hike to Etna. Anyway the view is stunning.
