Einfach nur Wow! Eine absolute einzigartige Unterkunft, die liebevoll geführt wird. Sollte man in Florenz sein, ist es eine tolle Übernachtungsmöglichkeiten. Man erreicht die Unterkunft super mit dem Bus und ist innerhalb von einer halben Stunde im Zentrum von Florenz. Jedes Zimmer ist ein Highlight für sich. Das Frühstück ist der Wahnsinn. Es gibt viele, kleine italienische Leckereien, die alle frisch zubereitet sind. Wir würden sofort wiederkommen!

Had a fantastic stay at Claudio’s b&b. He’s a one man show and does it very well. This stay has encouraged me to look for similar b&bs in my next travel destinations.
When you’re on the property you would have no idea a city is near by, but still get the luxury of all Florence has to offer within a 30 minute bus ride. Couldn’t recommend it more

A quaint place to stay in a charming village. The bus to Florence is frequent and easy. The B&B is full of charm. We stayed in the old mill tower, converted to a room with a view of the river Arno. You could see up to old roof timbers when lying in bed. It was like something out of Skyrim!||The innkeeper, Claudio, has a dog and two adorable cats. His breakfast food is delicious, too!

Wonderful place to stay just outside Florence. Beautiful room and historic mill. Restful stay for us after a long leg of our journey. Garden and river patio was perfect after a day traveling and in the city. Claudio and team makes a wonderful breakfast. Very reasonably priced. Thanks for having us!

Wir waren im Juni für 2 Nächte bei Claudio. Die Unterkunft wurde uns empfohlen, als wir in unserer eigentlich gebuchten Unterkunft aufgrund eines Wasserschadens nicht schlafen konnten. Besonders gefallen hat uns das Frühstück im Garten der Unterkunft. Mit der Buslinie 14 konnten wir preiswert und komfortabel Florenz erkunden.

Si queréis disfrutar de unos días en el corazón y capital de la Toscana, Florencia sin más ruidos que unos pajaritos cantando y el zumbido del río Arno que pasa por aquí antes de llegar al puente beccio no lo dejéis pasar, tanto como familiar, de negocios o turísticamente intentar reservar aquí.
La amabilidad y cercanía de Claudio, su propietario te hace la estancia super agradable.

Il B&B La Martellina è un luogo davvero affascinante ricco di storia. Posto molto comodo per la vicinanza a Firenze, abbiamo soggiornato nella camera Salcio e ci siamo trovati benissimo. Claudio il proprietario è stato molto gentile e ci si sente in un clima familiare, dato anche che oltre ad essere b&b è anche casa sua dove vive con il suo cane e i due gatti. Ottima la colazione molto abbondante e tipica servita in sala su un'antico tavolo dove è possibile fare amicizia con gli altri ospiti.

We'd like to thank Claudio for such a wonderful stay. |We enjoyed the ambiance of the house and the garden. We also enjoyed the breakfast itself as well that we sat together with other guests. We had lovely conversations.|Beside, we want to give Claudio big thanks for his help, calmness, friendliness and funny jokes as we had big complications with our car-insurance that took most of our time while staying at Fiesole.|All together we would love to come back to enjoy La Martellina

What a find! This was such a lovely place to stay, right on the banks of the Arno river. Claudio is a delight, so very helpful, and with a brilliant sense of humour.
We stayed in the Tower (Torre), which was beautifully restored, had a very comfortable bed, aircon, and an epic view of the river. The outside space was very tranquil, with hammocks and tables and chairs, as well as a pool.
The location is fantastic for visiting Firenze - the bus stop at the top of the road is the last stop on the 14 line; Claudio provides details on this when you first arrive.

It was an amazing stay at Claudios b&b! Really beautiful house with a wonderful garden and the cutest dog right next to the river. Very esthetic interior and furniture, a lot of it made from local wood. The best breakfast I've ever had, while staying somewhere away from home, made freshly by Claudio every morning. You could literally taste the hospitality! Great location while visiting florence, just a 25min bike ride away and you can cycle next to the tiver the whole time. Alternativly you can take the bus which stops just 1 min walk from the house. Claudio was really friendly to let us borrow some bikes and was always open for a nice chat. Huge recommendation to stay in this amazing place!!

Claudio was so welcoming at La Martellina, and the place itself is beautiful. Clean and comfy rooms, gorgeous garden with a little pool for cooling off and access to the river. The breakfast was absolutely excellent and just a perfect experience of the relaxed Italian approach! We loved it here and would definitely return. It is a bus ride into Florence proper, but Claudio also gave good recommendations for more local food and drinks - ask about the pizza place up the road! 100% would recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing and chilled out way to visit Florence.

Mit vier Personen verbrachten wir drei wunderschöne Tage in der Wassermühle La Martellina am Arno. Das Zimmer Camera Torre ist ein absoluter Traum und die Camera Salcio ist auch sehr empfehlenswert. Beide Räume sind mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet, wie die Mühle insgesamt. Der im Garten befindliche kleine Pool durchbricht zwar ein wenig die authentische Atmosphäre (wie einige andere moderne Alltagsgegenstände auch), sorgte bei 38-40 Grad Außentemperatur aber für eine höchst willkommene Abkühlung, die nach unserer Radtour in die Innenstadt von Florenz und zurück dringend nötig war. Die Fahrräder wurden von La Martellina kostenfrei zur Verfügung gestellt. Fahrzeit mit dem Rad entlang des Arno bis ins Zentrum ca. 35 Minuten. Jenseits unserer Ausflüge entspannten wir uns einfach in der Mühle oder in deren großen Garten. Es ist so schön und entspannend dort, dass man nicht schnell zum nächsten Ausflug weiter muss, sondern einfach mal "wohnen" kann.||Und: Der Gastgeber (Claudio) war äußerst freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück war höchst reichhaltig. Der Unterkunftsstandard ist gut. Alles, was man braucht, ist da (sogar etwas gegen die Mücken). Die Unterkunft ist sauber.||Fazit: Die Atmosphäre ist kaum zu toppen und das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist erstklassig! Vielleicht diese Einschränkung: Übertrieben Luxusverwöhnte und Oberpingel sind hier nicht wirklich richtig.

Excelente entorno a orillas del Arno, y en principio ubicación buena a 20 minutos en autobus de Florencia (En nuestro caso la ida fue perfecta, pero la vuelta fue un caos debido a la incompetencia de los autobuseros fiorentinos, así que cuidado con la vuelta en el 14A). ||Por otro lado, buena atención por parte de Claudio (su dueño), aunque con importantes descuidos a la hora de realizar el pago (no pudimos pagar con tarjeta de credito), lo tuvimos que realizar en efectivo (con los consecuentes impuestos posteriores a la hora de tener que sacar el dinero correspondiente). ||En resumen, muy buen bed and breakfast, pero cuidado al pagar y con el autobus de vuelta.

Un sitio maravilloso y unos anfitriones insuperables, Claudio te hace sentir como en casa, las habitaciones son preciosas y la casa en general está decorada con mucho gusto. El desayuno es espectacular, muy variado y todo riquísimo. Que decir de Emilio, encantador y cariñoso, siempre sale a saludarte y te acompaña en los descansos en el jardíny la graciosa tigre con su particular forma de captar tu atención... Ha sido un placer encontrar un lugar que lo tenga todo, tan cerca a Florencia ya sea en bici que te presta Claudio o en bus que es muy frecuente y funciona hasta bastante tarde, se agradece el descanso en La Martellina después de la frenética ciudad. Un milón de gracias a Claudio y sus encantadoras mascotas. No encontraréis un lugar mejor. Gracias de nuevo. Besos de Rocío y Javier

Estuve en este lugar me dejo uno de los mas lindos recuerdos de la region de la Toscana de Italia. Su edificaciòn, su paz, su comodidad, y por sobre todo la atenciòn de Claudio, un anfitrion que hace que realmente te sientas como en casa con desayunos preparados segùn tus costumbres y gustos. Estuve 3 dìas y aunque esta a 5 km del casco històrico de Florencia me pude mover con total comodidad dado que el colectivo tiene buena frecuencia y es segurisimo.||Recomiendo este lugar.

El lugar es de pelicula y Claudio, el dueño, es una persona muy amable y te informa de todo lo que necesitas. Está muy cerca de Firenze y es ideal para descansar después de un día de visitar museos y pasear por la ciudad del arte por excelencia. Nosotros hemos estado en noviembre, con lo que no pudimos disfrutar del maravilloso jardín al borde del Arno. Los desayunos que prepara Claudio son de película, increíbles!||Lo único que eché de menos es que no tuviera el baño dentro de la habitación, pero volvería sin dudarlo

Pasamos muy buen tiempo en B&B La Martellina.Exelente ubicacion ! Podes ir a Florencia en Bicis que te presta Claudio , el dueño. A pie , si te gustan las caminatas , disfrutando un paisaje fabuloso , bordeando el rio casi hasta el mismisimo Ponte Vecchio. Y en Bus que sale desde unos escasos 100 mts desde el porton de La Martellina. Es igualmente comodo el arribo.Desde la Estacion de Trenes del Centro de Florencia te lleva un solo bus casi puerta a puerta. La casa ubicada sobre el rio , cuando terminas tu paseo de cuidad llena de gente , turistas, etc,disfrutas de un entorno natural muy tranquilo , con majestuoso paisaje.Empezas el dia con un desayuno muy bueno , preparado por su propio dueño ,simpatico (que habla Italiano , español , ingles y algo de frances y no se que mas ..),muy amable y de risa franca. Precios normales . Ah ! me olvidaba , contas con un restaurant cercano para la cena .

Gracias a la gentil hospitalidad de Claudio, hemos disfrutado de una estadía en Fiesole muy satisfactoria. Somos una familia argentina que, en bùsqueda de lugares estratégicos para recorrer la bella Italia, nos hemos encontrado con este bellísimo lugar, a minutos de Florencia, sobre el Arno, impostado en un viejo molino, muy confortable y limpio, muy bien atendido por Claudio, con desayunos suculentos y completísimos y con una relación calidad-precio óptima. Dato simpático, el cachorrón Emilio, la mascota del lugar, con la que se encariñaron tanto mis hijos.||Verdaderamente, para recomendar calurosamente!||Muchas gracias por todo, Claudio!
