We had a great experience renting road bikes from this shop! The bikes were really good, and the owner was very friendly — he helped us choose the right ones and suggested some beautiful scenic routes. It was a fantastic way to explore the area. Highly recommend!

Great service. After having cycled from Cartagena in Spain.over 3 weeks my bike was in bad shape. The very nice gentleman face me a new saddle and fixed my chain and brakes for no money in an hour. Really helpful.

Finding a bike shop open on a Monday in Italy is not easy… but luckily I found this one ! It’s a lovely family-run shop and the young man from the family spoke excellent English which was a huge help.

He was already busy with other repairs when I arrived but when I explained that I was in the middle of a cycling race he stopped everything and fixed my bike in just 15 minutes with a big smile, great energy and impressive skills that are hard to find among bike mechanics.

I highly recommend this shop without hesitation and hope to come back to buy a few things on my next trip to Italy.
Thanks again, you literally saved my race ! 🚴‍♂️🇮🇹

After having a flat tire on my wheelchair, we were soooo lucky to have found this sweet little shop! We were welcomed warmly and assisted at once. The shop owner provided very professional help while chatting with us in a friendly manner. (He speaks Italian and German.) The price was also really fair. He saved not only our day but the rest of our vacation. Huge thank you again!!!

Ich hatte ein technisches Problem an meinem Fahrrad und mir wurde ganz kurzfristig und fachmännisch geholfen – schnell und kompetent. Der Betreiber war außerordentlich nett und hat fließend Deutsch gesprochen. Außerdem konnte er mir noch tolle Routenvorschläge für die Region geben – sehr hilfreich! Absolut empfehlenswert, wenn man in der Gegend unterwegs ist. Vielen Dank nochmals!

Rented a road bike here but since I didn’t know the area well, ended up getting a great ride recommendation from the owner’s son. The route went from the bike shop, over the mountain to Recco, up to Uscio and back down the valley on the other side of the mountains, returning along the coast starting in Chiavari. It was about 50 miles and had a few solid climbs. The rental itself was easy enough and all I had to bring was a water bottle, a form of ID (US drivers license worked) and my shoes with SPD clips, though I saw they at least had the kind of pedals mountain bikers use too. While Google says they close at 5pm, they’re actually open until 7pm (at least for the days I rented and returned, a Tuesday and Wednesday). If you pick up the day before between 6 and 7, you don’t have to pay for an extra day. I picked up at 2pm or so, so my bill was 30 euro for the initial half day plus 50 for a full day.

My bike did have a skipping problem with the lowest couple gears, which is why this review is for four stars. It was by no means a dealbreaker and otherwise the carbon bike worked great and they had hooked me up with a flat fix kit just in case, a phone mount, and a helmet. Because of all the dark tunnels in the area it would feel safer if there was a rear facing light next time.

Le vélo entre Santa Margherita et Portofino était un très bon choix et la balade était très agréable. De fait, excellent rapport qualité prix : nous avons loué deux vélos de ville (casque et panier inclus) pour 15€ la journée chacun.

Accueil très chaleureux et souriant ! Possibilité de retour après 17h.

Mi trovavo nei pressi di santa Margherita , a seguito di una foratura non sono riuscito a rimettere in pressione il pneumatico consumando l’unica bomboletta disponibile . Ho provato a contattare il negozio nonostante fosse tardi e fuori orario, per fortuna ho trovato Mimmo che gentilmente ha tirato su la serranda per mettermi in condizione di ritornare a casa . Senza di lui sarei rimasto a piedi . Competenza , educazione e gentilezza. Uno dei punti di riferimento per i ciclisti del levante ! GRAZIE

Hired a bike for 1 day - 50 euro for giant defy ultegra. Please note if you're holidaying in this area this is the ONLY bike shop that hires road bikes.
Started off at shop and cycled up the coast towards sestri levante. At sestri levante there's a 9.5mile climb called Passo Del Bracco. Not steep but long. Bonus is the water fountain just after the summit - godsend after climbing in July heat! 🥵
Lunch at mountaintop restaurant then descent to sestri levante and back to bike shop. The route from the coast to Passo Del Bracco was used in Giro this year - Genoa to Lucca. Spectacular scenery. 62 miles loop and 5500 ft climbing.
Well worth hiring toad bike from this shop if in the area. Owner managed to locate me an 11-32 cassette on the back - thank you - I needed it!😂👍🇮🇹🚴‍♀️

The owner of the shop is very helpful. They adjust the bike to fit you and he gave multiple options for good rides. He provided us with a backup kit for flat tires. Helmets were included. The area is very beautiful so I highly recommend renting a bike here!

Good English also when we arrived, but they'd answered every question we had via email, and gave us some quality carbon road bikes for a great days excursion around the Italian Riviera! Really friendly also, would thoroughly recommend anyone coming to Liguria who wants a day in the hills! Cheers guys!

I rented a road bike (Cinelli superstar) from Ciclomania. The bike worked great and the service was excellent. I also went on a bike tour which was amazing. We road 50 miles through the riviera and I have never had such an enjoyable ride.

The owner and his family are incredibly friendly and professional. I cannot recommend this bike shop enough.
