I was here during opening hours (6pm on a Saturday). Store was closed although it said "open". No one to be found. Totally unreliable. Wanted to buy new biking gloves while I was on a 10 day bike tour coming through Spoleto.

Om negen uur vanmorgen waren wij met een probleem bij u in de winkel. Zonder afspraak! Direct werd ik geholpen, een nieuw zadel gemonteerd, remkabels vervangen, ondanks kapotte remhandel en nieuwe remblokjes gemonteerd. De taal maakte een gesprek over de prachtige winkel en mooie klassieke fietsen jammergenoeg moeilijk. Totdat de zoon binnenkwam en wij in het Engels over de "Da Rosa fietsen" en de nauwe contacten van zijn vader met de grondlegger van de "da Rosa" konden praten. Wat een liefde voor het vak en de fiets. Maar ook voor de pelgrim naar Rome. Nogmaals dank, zo fijn geholpen. Hartelijke groet jabik en carla uit nederland

Abbiamo preso due e-bike raccomandandoci delle qualità delle bici considerando che dovevamo fare un percorso impegnativo !!
Fatto sta che le bici si sono scaricate a metà percorso ,non si poteva cambiare la marcia perché le marce sgranavano ,e il freno avanti non funzionava !

Esperienza pessima,da evitare !

As a foreigner tourist who speaks no Italian this bicycle shop was very helpful. I rented a bike from them to bike the ex rail trail nearby. The store owner only spoke Italian but was incredibly patient and didn’t get frustrated at all when I had to lookup what he was saying. My water bottle didn’t fit the one on the bicycle so he made me a custom water bottle holder and provided a helmet and light. Price was fair. I have probably never received better service in my life. Highly recommend.

I had a very positive experience with this bike shop. I rented a road bike for Euro 25/day, a very reasonable price, especially since it included a helmet, lock, and forward/rear lights. The bike was high quality and performed well, and Signore Scocchetti also added toe clips to the pedals to accommodate me. The shop is located within walking distance of the Spoleto train station, and about 20 minutes walk to the escalator (scale movili) which can convey you up to the hilltop ancient city. My friend and I rode the Spoleto to Assisi bike trail and I highly recommend this route, but make SURE you have a GPS to guide you as the signage is sporadic. Don't miss stopping off in the ancient town of Bevagna on the way.

Ho portato la mia bici in quanto sentivo che il pignone posteriore slittava. Ha riferito che ovviamente qualora fosse stato danneggiato sarebbe stato necessario sostituirlo ed il prezzo sarebbe stato variabile a seconda del pezzo di ricambio. In definitiva era solo è unicamente da stringere, quindi solo smontare la ruota posteriore della bici e stringere il componente con la chiave adatta. Per tale operazione mi sono stati chiedi 20 euro che reputo eccessivi per un semplice utilizzo della chiave adatta, con lo stesso prezzo avrei preso la chiave, avrei rislto il problema e mi sarebbe rimasto l'attrezzo in garage.
Per questo motivo la mia recensione è di due stelle. Peccato ha perso l'occasione di crearsi un nuovo cliente e una pubblicità positiva.
Per il resto il negozio è fornito e attrezzato!

Damiano was great, he provided us with good bikes to rent while visiting Spoleto. He was kind in answering all our questions and directing us to the route we wanted to take. Highly recommended!

I highly recommend this business! I rented a mountain bike from them. You can rent by the day or for the week. The young man who helped me chose a bike, ask for my approval, put it on a rack and gave it a complete inspection- checking the brakes, the gears, the pedals and the seat. He adjusted everything to my height, gave me a repair kit and case I got a flat, a helmet and a bike lock. Bike lock. I received all this service for only €25 (for a 12 hour day).

Il migliore dell'Umbria: Scocchetti è sinonimo di qualità, competenza e passione! Al di là delle indiscutibili competenze tecniche nella manutenzione ed assemblaggio delle bici (che non sono facili da trovare) voglio sottolineare l'attenzione che Balbo dedica a ciascuno dei suoi clienti per fare in modo che l'esperienza e l'attività ciclistica di ognuno di noi sia la migliore possibile!

Rented 2 mountain bikes for the day and rode the bike path to Trevi and backs. The bikes were good quality and supplied with lock helmets and repair kit. Excellent service even though we spoke no Italian and used Google translate.
