Renting a car was the best thing we could have done while in Positano. We saw things that we would have never seen without it. The staff was super friendly and fun, and they made the rental process very easy. Thank you so much for letting us borrow that little Fiat. It was a blast to drive.

Canceled on us one day before our reservation (which was placed 3 months ago) the car that we were supposed to get broke down and they did not have other alternatives/ replacements (they only offered a stick shift and we don’t know how to drive it)
They did however refund but we ended up running around on the evening before to find another car

Rented a Fiat 500 in Positano to drive around the Amalfi Coast and had an amazing day with my wife! I wasn't expecting a convertible, it was very fun. If you have the opportunity, I really recommend visiting Ravello and Amalfi in one of their car. They also had the best price when compared to the other options we checked.

Rude man and defective car:
When we arrived at the office in Positano my wife asked the guy behind the desk (manager?) if there was a garbage pail that she can discard a tissue into and his response to her was “this is an office not a bar”. I also asked to use his restroom and he reluctantly let me. That was the start of our rental experience but it gets worse.
After an uneventful drive to Pompeii the car troubles started when we were leaving the parking lot. The exit is on an incline and after scanning my paid ticket the gate came up but when i put the manual transmission into first gear the car would only go in reverse. I tried starting in 2nd gear and 3rd gear and could not get the car to go forward. After the parking lot attendant tried to help me ( because he didn’t think i knew how to drive a manual transmission) i had to back down the exit ramp, turn off the car, wait a minute or 2 and restart. Thankfully the car went forward after i shifted to first gear and we were on our way back to Positano. Unfortunately we ran into some bumper to bumper traffic on the way and got stuck on an uphill incline and the same thing happened again. No matter what gear i shifted into the car would only go in reverse. Luckily the car behind me stopped before we had an accident. I had to turn off the car and wait a minute or 2 (while my wife got out of the car to direct traffic around us) then restart the car. Luckily it went forward when i shifted to first gear, and we were on our way back to Positano again.
When we arrived at the rental office and i informed the manager of the issue and advised him that he should probably have the car taken in for service, he basically told me that i do not know how to drive a manual transmission car.
For the record we have 4 cars in our driveway and 3 of them are manual transmission so knowledge of how to drive the car was definitely not the problem.
I would never rent from them again.

Frustrating experience dealing with Franco, the drama Queen agent. He was incredibly disturbed by our requests for a car, gesturing arms in the air like a high school girl that he’s so busy and it’s his job to take care of the world. “but no one helps Franco!” he proclaimed. After asking if any other car rentals were in the area he lost his mind. We were able to contact Laura through the web and booked a car at last. However, picking it up the next day we met Franco’s daughter, like father like daughter. As a high school girl herself, she was no less dramatic about our request to inspect the car before signing the contract. “It’s one and the same” she said. No, it isn’t. Once you get the car, you can’t return it until the next day because they’re close, so you’re stuck with parking it “somewhere”. In Positano, that could mean paying a garage the price of the rental itself.

Their gorgeous convertible Fiat car was a dream for cruising along the breathtaking Amalfi coast.

Francesco's exceptional service, delivering the car right to us and meeting in a convenient spot as we departed, added an extra layer of enjoyment to the whole experience.

Unlike big car rental companies, there was no bothersome up-selling (based on fear!) of insurance - the price was totally transparent.

The personal touch and professionalism displayed by their team were truly commendable and sets them apart. If you're looking for a seamless, effortless, and easy car rental experience, look no further.
