Tarjolla useampi uudehko sähkömaastopyörä, mutta muut pyörät lähes romuja. Asiakaspalvelijoilla heikko englannintaito ja hämmästyttävä olematon asiantuntemus polkupyöristä (kuitenkin bike hotel!) osaavat lähinnä rahastaa. Mekaanikkoa ei ollut. Eivät osanneet edes perussäätöjä tehdä. Maantiepyöräilijöiden ei kannata vaivautua.

We rented a handful of bikes for the family and we enjoyed them so much. What a great way to explore the waterfronts and different locations.

Customer service was freakin amazing and super accommodating!!!

I give them a 3.5*.
We rented 2 normal city bikes to go to Arona and back. Everything went well but some of the bikes need maintenance, e.g my rear wheel was swinging and needs the bearings changed.
Friendly staff but they know nothing about bikes or how to even pump a tyre, since they actually work for the hotel. They should have dedicated staff.
The few ebikes they had looked good but did not try them.

Rented a Vespa and got a flat tire. Had to wait a long time for someone to come pick us up while we were supposed to have half the renting period left. After they made us pay 100 euro extra. The lady was nice atleast but definitely wouldn’t recommend this company.

Very good experience renting a mountain bike twice this week from the Stresa bike rental situated at the hotel. Friendly and helpful. Bikes were good. Well adjusted and capable. First day I cycled up to top of Mottarone. Hard work but rewarding and fabulous coming down. Second day also rented a city e bike also for my wife. We made it to Lake Orta. By careful use of motor she made it there and back with plenty of charge left, 3 of 5 bars without a top up. I was nearly put off by some bad reviews. All I can say is I am glad I wasn’t and our experience great

We went here to rent bikes, and one of the bikes was broken. When we all came back, they refused to give us a refund even though we had to turn all the way around because one of their bikes was unsafe. Would not recommend.

Reserved 2 city bikes (not electric) for 20€ each in advance. They were ready to go, and the hotel that was attached helped us get them. One bike was in great condition, but the other was not so much, with gear issues.

Bike was perfect, location even better.
Patrizia was so helpful and friendly.
I will definitely rent another bike from here.

On one of my days off in Stresa, I rented two e-bikes for 39 euros and about 4 hours. Exhausted the battery on the first e-bike (Scott), got to the top of a local mountain called Mattarone, and then Stresa Bike Rental gave me a replacement e-bike which was even better than the first (Olympic), therefore toured the lake to Suna with my remaining 4-hour rental.

Great customer service and a great value for the equipment rental. Note to inquire at the hotel across the street for rental arrangements if you plan to reserve in-person.

I rented a racing bike at short notice, which normally has to be reserved a few days in advance...but it worked out at short notice and I was able to do my 82 km tour the next day. Thank you Lusiano Flavio for your help in providing the bike 😃💪 the bike is not new, but it worked perfectly. Thank you for everything👍

Reservation worked uncomplicated. Our group did not expect the latest models, but unfortunately ebikes were not serviced. So we had: a flat and a dangerously used tyre on pickup, a damper without pressure, broken spoke, 2 torn chains on tour, etc. Would be great if they worked with a professional bike service partner. Furtunately we had tools with us. But lost a lot of time

Unbedingt vermeiden. Hier gibt es keine Räder die fahrbar sind. Wir können gar nicht verstehen warum die überhaupt noch inserieren. Es waren circa zehn Fahrräder in einem Grotten schlechten Zustand vorhanden, wir wurden zuerst von der Rezeptionistin des Hotels in ein Reisebüro geschickt mussten zwischendurch 10 Minuten warten um dann die Fahrräder, die wir neben der Rezeption haben stehen sehen, begutachten zu dürfen. Letzte Wartung war gefühlte drei Jahre her. Eines davon habe ich Probe gefahren - es hat an allen Ecken und Enden geklappert. Wir haben es beim anschauen belassen und waren verwundert dass hier kein professioneller Service in so einem großen Ort für Fahrräder angeboten wird.
Wirklich schade und die 2 km hin laufen und Rück laufen hätten wir uns sparen können.

I have to be honest. We rentes 2 E-MTB’s and after 300m the first stopped working. We returned and got a new one. This one had crooked wheels but it whas normal in its usage. Se we continued the 50km trough the mountain, lake d’Orte. The scenery here is awesome. The girls who run it are most friendly! They dont know all the specs of the bike but thats ok. They give a small bag with spare tire, pump and tools. But also a nr to call if you are not custom to self fixing the bike. The price is half the price we paid in switzerland. Also free helmets. If i can give a tip: give free bottles of water and a holder om the bike. I wanted to give 4 stars but the broken bike made it 3. No worries. And thanx!

We've rented a regular MTB to take the cable car and go down hill back to Stresa. MTB seemed used but okay. 100m on the track my back derailler simply broke off.

Called the shop, they arranged a free return with the cable car and picked us up. The staff has been so kind to then provide us with eMTBs for free to make up for the broken MTB.

End of story, we had a good time with the eMTBs and were happy with the way the staff solved this. Hence the four stars.
Just make sure your bike is in good fit before taking it. It seems they're not always checked properly.

The only good thing was that the persons (Monica and Elena) I had on the phone were nice and both french and English speaking. So 2 stars instead of 1.
Except that, I rented for 5 days:
- only few bikes remaining and the most awful
- excessive price for the e-bikes
- bikes with lights not working
- we came to replace them after the first day
- the one that were available to replace were not perfect neither, I personally ended up with a weak rear light and a broken bell (my GF had a bike fully operational)
- the person providing us with the bikes was not so nice, did not know anything about bikes and did not feel at all concerned about our problem

Conclusion:
Don't rent bikes here as your main travelling method (unless they tell you this time they have decent ones), they LL just provide you with no more than bikes suitable for tourists visiting for half day.
(+ Even if it is not their fault, roads are aweful for bikes in majjiore lake: 70km with no light in the night and not bike path)
I pray for bike road and more bike rental competition to be able to get decent material next time.
