I recently spent 10 days in Sambuca di Sicilia, during which I hired an e-bike from Sambuca e-bikes.

Kevin, the proprietor, was excellent, very obliging, full of helpful advice, and extremely knowledgeable about the local area. His support throughout was second to none and made the whole experience seamless.

During my stay, I explored a variety of routes around Sambuca, including the old disused railway lines that have been transformed into cycling trails. These were absolutely fantastic. The highlight was the route from Sambuca to Giuliana, which takes you through mountains, old railway tunnels, bridges, and viaducts. The scenery was simply breathtaking, and with the great weather, it made the experience even more enjoyable.

Alongside the cycling, I also had the chance to experience some of the fantastic local food and wine. I visited a local buffalo cheese-making facility, toured several wineries, and took part in a wine tour at a nearby vineyard. Tasting the wines and seeing the production process up close was a real highlight and added even more to the overall experience.

The e-bikes themselves are very easy to use, no prior experience needed. Within minutes, you’re comfortable and ready to go. The routes can be as easy or as challenging as you want them to be, which makes it suitable for everyone.

I would highly recommend Sambuca e-bikes to anyone looking to try something different on holiday. Sambuca itself is a fantastic place to visit, with beautiful surroundings and genuinely lovely people.

We had the most amazing time in sambuca, exploring the area on our fantastic ebikes, sambuca ebikes are a amazing way to see the area from the circle trails ,witch Kevin guides you through before you start your journey to just exploring the town, my son who is 15 just loved the experience as well, highly recommend this as an experience, thanks again sambuca ebikes,

We contacted Kevin for Sambuca’s e-bike service and:
-From the first moment he showed available and happy we were going to use his E-bike service.
-He very kindly explained us how each of the bikes worked.
-He made sure we were receiving our vests and helmets for major safety.
-As it had rained in the previous days, he was aware of which roads would have been ridable, and explained us the way to get to them.
- One of our bikes was equiped with a water bottle, and some other tools to repare or pump up the wheels in case we needed it.
- The bikes were working smoothly, and we had amazing rides across Sambuca’s vineyards.
