We did a one-week self-guided tour of the Salento by bike Coast to Coast. Our group of 4 rented 2 gravel bikes, a trekking bike and an e-bike.
I can't recommend Puglia Cycling enough! Anastasios who was my contact all throughout planning our trip to Puglia could not have been more helpful and responsive. Alfredo who went over our bikes and all the particulars at our first hotel was thorough, patient and kind.
The bikes were in great condition and we had no issues. The way they did the Ride with GPS instructions and detailed recommendations for sites of interest and restaurants attached was very helpful as was the Puglia guide they provided.
It was nice to have the freedom of being self-guided so you could stop wherever you wanted, when you wanted. The routes were well planned for traffic and for scenic vistas. The hotels were all interesting, smaller properties in great locations and with very good breakfast offerings.
Overall a fun, interesting and trouble-free vacation!

Formidables 10 jours de vélo organisés par Puglia cycle tours. Itinéraire bien pensé et clair, accueil personnalisé et réponse très rapide en cas d’urgence. Les vélos et les équipements sont de bonne qualité et les hôtels de première classe. Tout à dépassé nos attentes (nous avons plusieurs expériences du genre et celle-ci est de loin la meilleure!). We did the Matera to Ostuni cycle tour and it was so enjoyable thanks to Puglia Cycle Tours. Piero was excellent at the welcome meeting, the bikes were top quality as were the hotels. The route was very well thought out and the GPS included coffee/lunch suggestions. Cycling is a brilliant way of seeing Puglia and I would definitely recommend using Puglia Cycle Tours.

We had two incredible days on the self-guided e-bike trip.

At the beginning of our trip, we met Antonio at our hotel for a very informative briefing. He explained how to use the GPS, reviewed the e-bike battery instructions, and covered all the other important details to ensure we were comfortable before starting.

Starting from Alberobello, we completed two daily loop rides. Both routes followed quiet back roads, making for safe, comfortable, and relaxing rides of approximately 50 km per day. The pre-assigned GPS routes were easy to follow, and the bikes and equipment were excellent.

The countryside on both rides was absolutely beautiful. Highlights included visiting Martina Franca, Locorotondo, and touring the Castellana Caves.

Highly recommended and definitely one of the highlights of our trip to Puglia.

Puglia Cycle Tours were amazing! The scenery and paths were perfect as we spent very little time on busy roads and the rides were relatively flat (which I love).
The support team who transported our luggage were also great. I left two things at one of our stays and both items were waiting for us at our next destination when we arrived. This was such a great trip I would love to repeat it with my daughter, as this time I went with my husband. I highly recommend this biking trip and company.

We had a three-week vacation in Italy in May 2026. A good friend recommended Puglia Cycle Tours after doing a couple of different bike tours. We did the 8-day self-guided tour Coast Salento by Bike–Coast to Coast and it was amazing. The equipment, bikes and gear were high quality, (GPS never even came close to running out of battery), accommodations were absolutely lovely and the routes were varied and well thought out, the country routes were better than expected. Breakfasts were great, lots to choose from. We had no issues, great support and loved this trip. They have planned the routes so well, taking you off the main roads so you see more, things you might miss by main roads. The scenery is never-ending, coastline, olive groves, vineyards, birds signing, spectacular. The documents they provide give you tips on your route each segment, distanced, elevations, suggestions for where to stop - it was very accurate and helpful. Riding 60-70 km each day was just right for us. You have the late afternoon/evening to enjoy your 'new home'. You ride with freedom, not worrying about anything but enjoying yourself. When you finish each day, your luggage is there, take a shower, have a snack and go explore some more. Anastasio handled our booking and thought of everything, Alex did our orientation in Lecce and was wonderful getting us setup. Highly recommend--Puglia Cycle Tours is fantastic! I just want to go back and keep riding :)

We had a great experience with Puglia Cycle Tours. It is a great company to use if you want to cycle in Puglia. We did a six day self-guided tour. The bikes, the bike routes and the accommodations were all fantastic. The planning with Silvia was extremely easy. The bikes were there when we expected them and our luggage was transferred to the next hotel on time. I would not hesitate to use Puglia Cycle Tours again.

Excellent guided tour of Basilicata with a great guide, first class support, great food. Basilicata offers so many beautiful and unusual landscapes in a relatively small area. Absolutely recommended especially for those that like climbing. PCT was extremely professional from the very beginning to the very end. Will definitely return.

My husband and I regularly go on cycle tours in Europe, including from Prague to Vienna, Northern Portugal, from Trieste, Italy through Slovenia and into Croatia, and others. Puglia Cycle Tours was by far the best one. This year we decided to cycle through southern Italy with another couple. All four of us had a wonderful time. This company offered state of the art bicycles, an easy-to-follow map on 2 GPS phones among the 4 of us, 4-star accommodations in amazing hotels, other equipment, and even some freebee mementos.
They were flexible and even worked with us to create our own personalized tour as we preferred 4 days as opposed to 6 days, and we wanted to ride along the coast for a day or so. The price was extremely reasonable for all the value received. Most importantly, they were there for us, all the way. I lost my passport somewhere between Alberobello and Castellaneta, and they helped me deal with this even though it was a weekend. I was so appreciative as it was very stressful to lose my passport!
There were also thoughtful touches along the way. We were diverted on to beautiful side roads to avoid busy highways, we were directed to a beautiful lookout across the canyon from Matera to get a beautiful view of the caves built into the side of the canyon, and they booked us into an actual Truli while in Alberobello which was really amazing.
Silvia helped us with creating the tour, pricing and answered questions quickly and thoroughly. She was so friendly and accommodating. Our group couldn't be happier and wouldn't have changed a thing with our tour. I would highly recommend this company, and if I could give 10 stars, I would.
