What can I add to what everyone else has said?
This was an exceptional day of bike riding. From the beginning to the end it was one of the most enjoyable days we have had in Italy.
The day started with a quick orientation slide show of what to expect during the ride, fitting and explanation of how the e-bikes worked and tips on how to use the map app to get the most of the well thought out route through Florence (Firenze), into the Tuscany hills and back again. With tips on where to stop for lunch (a food truck in the square at Fiesole makes a very tasty burger and the cake shop, on the map, has tasty cakes and pastries). Fiesole also has a clean free toilet (not an easy thing to find in Italy) and a tap to fill water bottles.
Of course there’s the vineyard which is worth a rest stop and a chance to sample local wines (for an additional cost). The views from the terrace at the vineyard are fabulous.
Then back along the river to the city with a stop at Piazzale Michelangelo and then along some of Florence’s many bike paths back to the shop. A great day.
John, a very personable fellow is to be commended for putting together such a top notch tour.

Loved the experience. Had the most fun riding around the outskirts of Florence. John is great, super friendly and helpful. The self guided tour is very well mapped out (make sure to come with a phone more or less fully charged). John explained every turn that needed a little more attention (but it wasn’t even really difficult). Honestly would recommend to anyone. If you spend time taking photos and stop for some wine tasting, it will take about 6 hours. :)

What a wonderful experience and a great unique way to see the beautiful city of Florence. They helped us upload the map with directions so we never questioned about where we needed to go or if we were going the wrong way. We had two bikes and they provided a seat carrier for my 4 year old. 1000/10 highly recommend, next time we are in Florence we will absolutely do this again.

It really was a faultless experience, from the brilliant navigation app and route to the incredible cube e-bikes. We will most certainly be going again if we are ever in Florence!

We hebben veel gezien in Toscane, maar dit was één van onze topdagen. Zeer treffelijk materiaal, heel goede instructies onderweg via GPS, en een duidelijke presentatie voorafgaand. Een prachtige manier om Firenze en omgeving te ontdekken. Heel mooie route met viewpoints en een heel gezellige, intieme stop op de wijngaard. Ik hou er nochtans niet van dat alles voor mij georganiseerd wordt, maar dit was top. Ook heel stipt. John, de Schotse uitbater is het type kerel waarmee je eigenlijk een pint wil gaan pakken, hij is dolle pret! Hope to do that one day, John! Al is hij naar eigen zeggen op zijn best in de ochtend en gaat het daarna stijl bergaf... 😅😜

The single best experience we had in Florence, worth every cent. Route was very thoughtfully designed and clearly spelled out, e-bikes made navigating the hilly countryside a breeze, and the views were breathtaking. Built-in pitstop for wine and charcuterie was a delicious and relaxing way to break up the full day of cycling. Don’t even second guess if you’re on the fence, our only regret was booking with Viator instead of direct which would have saved a good chunk of change.

Notre activité favorite lors d'un voyage de 3 semaines. Le propriétaire est très sympathique. Les bicyclettes électriques fonctionnent à merveille. Vous avez une carte très claire sur votre téléphone, et il vous donne un briefing bref mais détaillé de la route à suivre sur une télé avant de partir avec des photos des intersections etc.

Le parcours de 40km est magnifique et comme dans les films. Des scènes mémorables partout. Un arrêt au vignoble recommandé est un must. Le service et la bouffe sont excellents, et la vue saisissante.

Ne manquez pas cette activité!

This e-bike tour was one of the highlights of our entire Italy trip! John is a gem - so kind, engaging and helpful. He truly just wants you to have a wonderful experience! He thought of everything to make your trip safe, fun, memorable and stress-free. His walk-through is super thorough, creating a map (that's available off-line) that takes you through the streets of Florence (a few small streets, but mainly on bike paths), then through the beautiful sites of Tuscany.

We LOVED that this was self-guided so that we could take our time and stop whenever we wanted. The bikes are easy to ride and are in great condition, has a phone holder and lots of storage.

John's recommendation of the winery (with pool!) was a lovely place to rest, relax, and take it all in. The staff at the winery are lovely and the premises were beautiful.

We cannot recommend this tour enough!! From the easy booking, to great communication, thorough walk-through, beautiful scenery, amazing adventure and lovely conversation with John, this is a MUST-DO when in Florence. Thank you so much, John!!

Despite some challenges with the bike it was an amazing tour. The scenery is like a movie and you're the star in your adventure. Winery had great wines and olive oil. Some suggestions to make your experience better: 1. Wear bike shorts 2. Bring a phone charger. 3. Bring a water bottle. 4. Make sure you can contact the shop somehow if you have any bike issues. 5. Be pretty confident on a bike. 6. Be in fairly good shape. The map is extremely detailed and easy to follow. Thanks, John.

Amazing tour! The route was an incredible way to get out of the busyness of the city and explore the perimeter of Florence. The views were spectacular.

We arrived at 10a and John gave a rundown of using the app and the route we'd be taking complete with pictures of the areas that could be slightly confusing so we knew what to do, although the map app worked great in offline mode and if you followed it would be fine.

If you are on a time crunch and have biked before you could do the loop in 2 hours. We were in no rush and went along at a leisurely pace, enjoyed all the scenic viewpoints and stopped at the winery for a little over an hour to have wine and snacks and the tour took us 6 hours.

Would highly recommend and if you are in Florence multiple days do the tour the first day if you can as it will help you get familiar with where everything is for the rest of your time there.

A fantastic ride following John’s map. Took us up to Fiesole for a coffee and cake. Delicious! Then on through a forest to a vineyard where we had wine tasting and a platter of Cheese and meats. Then back along the river cycle way to Florence. 40 km trip! An excellent experience! Thanks John.

John was absolutely wonderful. He was kind and thoughtful, and explained everything very thoroughly. We did a self guided e-bike tour with a stop at a vineyard. My wife and I rented bikes here and went on the self-guided tour. We had so much fun and enjoyed the ride so much, we came back a few days later to ride again! Honestly, as great a time as we've had in Florence, this was the highlight of our time here. John, who operates the business, was super helpful and accommodating, and the route he planned out is very scenic and sends you through some very picturesque and beautiful areas surrounding the city, including a great winery and forested country roads. This is a great way to escape the busy city and see more of what makes Tuscany such a magical place. I highly recommend you take some time out of your holiday to take this tour!
