Climbing Europe’s highest and one of the world’s most active volcanoes with someone who knows every road, every story, and every viewpoint made the day incredibly special. Had a great experience riding up Mt Etna this week with Marco from the Cycling Sicily team. Great scenery the whole ride from the hustle of Naxos to the quiet roads on Etna through old lava flows, forests, and farmlands. On the ride Marco was able to share many unique facts about Mt Etna as well as Sicilian and Italian history and lifestyle. Road conditions were great, the bike was good, and the pace adjusted to suit my pace (having been off the bike for 3 weeks eating cannolo and pizza didn't help me).
Thanks again Marco and Cycling Sicily team. I recommend this ride to anyone seeking a unique experience in Sicily.

I had a great experience with cycling Sicily. They let me rent a bike for 2 days at a reasonable price. They have gravel bikes, road bikes and a large variety. Thank you for your help and flexibility when I asked for a bike on such short notice. Marco was a great guy 🚴

The place is closed but the website is still up. We went there to get bikes but there is now another random company there:(
