I had a great excursion on Mount Etna. Both the driver and the guide were very friendly, and the guide shared many interesting and valuable insights about the volcano and the region. The experience was well-organized and truly memorable. Highly recommended!

Great tour of the area with information about history, geography, wine and culture. The small group lended itself to nice conversations and a fun experience. Our guide Ivano was so informative. The mountain side walk and the wine tasting were both fantastic.

We really enjoyed the trip to Sartorius craters today followed by Alcantara Gorge. We arranged via WhatsApp messages and booking worked well.
The tour was well organised - we were picked up on time and there weren't loads of stops to collect other people - and the guide was really knowledgeable.
The walking was hard going in places (obviously lots uphill) but we weren't rushed and older members of the group were well looked after. Some of us were given trekking boots to wear (as our trainers weren't very sturdy) and poles which was helpful.
Alcantara gorge was awesome too. You can see the rock formations from the shore but it's nice to paddle /wade along the gorge to see the more. Shorts and water shoes are good for this although there wasn't anywhere obvious to change so we just rolled up our jeans but did get pretty wet.
Will definitely use Sicily Active again for more trips.

Thanks to Ivano we had a wonderful Godfather Tour, which included a visit to the Corleone's Sicilian home. Meeting "Il Barone" at the villa made the visit extra special, as he was present during the filming over 50 years ago. Then off to Savoca where Ivan was able to secure us a great table at Bar Vitelli. Don't just make an offer, book this tour!

The trip was a perfect combination. Carmello was a great guide and we learnt a lot about the volcano and what it means to the people living around it. The lunch was good. And the Alcantara Gorges, which is an incredibly beautiful place, was a perfect way to end the day!

We had the pleasure to go up the Etna with Pietro - highly recommend and a wonderful experience. Pietro is knowledgeable, friendly and empathic. He took note of the needs of our group and shared his deep knowledge of Etna and Sicily. The views were stunning, the cave was like nothing else and the views were breathtaking. Best part of it all was the descent; traversing the volcanic sediment was like skiing on land. If you plan on visiting Sicily definitely go up the Etna and definitely choose Pietro as your guide!

Carmelo was a top notch guide and host. His knowledge and passion really shone through and was infectious. His sense of humour and team building helped create a magical day. Learning about Etna and its origins/formation together with the Alcatraz gorge was amazing. A must do!!

A great experience! Highly recommended! It was worth every euro because it included a polite, experienced guide (ask for Pietro) that transfered us from and to the hotel to mount Etna, the cable car ticket and a 3 hour pesonalised hiking . Pietro gave all the information abput geology and botanology and kindly answered all our questions! Don't miss Active Sicily when visiting Catania!

We absolutely loved our Mr. Etna and Winery tour! Our guide, Carmelo was so fun and made the whole experience memorable. Would highly recommend this tour to see the volcano and learn about the history of it all then enjoying several wine tastings with a picturesque view!! Loved everything about it!

Really glad we booked this tour with Sicily active. There’s so many to choose from but we paid the extra for a private tour and it was definitely worth it. Our guide Pedro was brilliant. The Godfather is one of my favourite films so it felt very surreal going to Villa Corleone and spending time there. Thank you for a day we will never forget!
