Awesome local bike guide, checks all the boxes for any bike adventure around the island. Was looking for long term rental and not only is the bike top tier but Simone fitted my choice of pedals, sent me GPX files for routes to try, advice on water stations and local conditions, plus he even threw in two super cool water bottles he designed himself. He's also just a text or call away if I find myself stranded somewhere too which is great peace of mind while traveling solo.

I was very pleased for renting bike from this place. Otto brought me bike to hotel, and provided different routes to cycle. Recommended routes were great to drive. It was especially good that Otto informed me where water points are, because there was surprisingly long distance where there were no bars or public wells to refill your bottles.

Bike worked great and was good to climb mountains. I went to Northern Etna and good father’s loop which Otto recommended.

Bike had mount for my Garmin computer, and it came with saddle bag with co2 cartridges, two inner tubes, multitool and mini pump. For an 183 cm rider size 56 was good, I could have used 10 mm or smaller stem but moving a saddle forward helped in this matter.

Thank you Simone, for a great experience in Sicily. We as a group of friends have rented bikes in many locations and countries, but these bikes were the best we have ever had. Top Basso brand material, good tires and well prepared. Delivery and pick up on time. Good tips on routes and excellent service.

What a brilliant experience. Simone was helpful from before my arrival through to picking the Basso up after finishing my hire.

I had a fantastic experience renting a bike from Simone. He was extremely friendly, helpful, and professional from start to finish.

The bike was in excellent condition and performed perfectly throughout my rides. Simone also provided several great route recommendations, which helped me discover some amazing roads and scenery around Sicily.

Communication was excellent as well. He always replied quickly to messages and was available whenever I had questions or needed assistance.

Overall, outstanding service, a fantastic bike, and a genuinely great person to deal with. I highly recommend Simone to anyone looking to rent a bike in the area.
