November is white truffle season in Umbria and we made the most of it at Seven! Okay, not the cheapest option but difficult to resist if you’re an occasional visitor to the region. We were a big group of a dozen or so and the service was flawless - even though the restaurant was quite full otherwise. Lots of wines to choose from and plenty of advice on what to drink. Porcini were also in season and our appetizers of deep-fried and pan-fried were delicious. Pasta with truffles, fillet steak with truffles and another pasta with porcini - all excellent and served with a smile in a warm and inviting atmosphere.

Delicious food and kind people. This was the first time I tasted a dessert with tartufo. It was quite a unique experience, but one I would most certainly recommend. Thank you Andrea & Andrea.
If we're ever in the area again we'll come back for more and maybe meet Michele, the legendary Truffle Hunter. 😉

Locale molto accogliente e personale disponibile ed educato. Abbiamo preso due antipasti, la tartare ed il carpaccio, la carne in sé è buona ma il tartufo è insapore. Abbiamo selezionato il ristorante appositamente per la sua selezione di tartufo nero, ma sfortunatamente non ne siamo stati soddisfatti.
Abbiamo successivamente ordinato un secondo, due tagliate funghi porcini e tartufo. I porcini sembrano sott’olio ed il tartufo è impercettibile. In oltre la carne era cotta male, risultando molto gommosa.
Ci dispiace lasciare una cattiva recensione in quanto si vede che c’è una ricerca e passione nel locale, ed i ragazzi sono molto carini, ma non credo torneremo più.

Siamo stati in questo locale incuriositi dalle ottime recensioni e dal servizio della nota trasmissione televisiva. Le nostre aspettative sono state pienamente soddisfatte. Le materie prime di ottima qualità sono cucinate magistralmente dal simpatico Michele che si occupa anche di reperire i tartufi che sono la base del loro menù, in maniera mai banale senza dimenticare la tradizione. In sala il fratello Andrea intrattiene i clienti consigliando cibi, vini ed anche caffè con simpatia e in maniera mai invadente. Rapporto qualità prezzo ottimo. Un posto che è subito casa in cui torneremo sicuramente.

Visiting Umbria from NYC and came across this absolute gem of a restaurant. The atmosphere and service were fantastic. The wine selection is incredible (and the staff had great recommendations). And then the star of the show, the truffle, was absolutely delicious. Better than anything we’ve ever had back home. It’s light, delicate and paired perfectly with their dishes. (The ice cream dessert with olive oil, salt and truffle on top was one of the best deserts I’ve ever tasted.)
10/10 would come back and recommend to a friend.

Zeer lekker eten. Goede wijnkaart met zowel regionale als internationale wijnen. Zij hebben een passie voor gerechten met truffel, die zij zelf met hun honden gaan vinden in de lokale bossen. Ook de gerechten zonder truffel zijn van topkwaliteit.
