This bike shop really cares! 🥰 They saved my NorthCape 4000 bikepacking trip by working patiently through several techncial issues to fix a dynohub and issues with the cockpit setup after travelling, for both myself and a friend. My fiancée and I had the pleasure of staying at the B&B as well as renting bikes. A huge thank you to Filipo who helped us immensely with the bike setups for the rental and gave us some great insight into the city and some places to ride along with help in purchasing a few things.

Bassano stole our hearts from the moment we stepped foot in the city and a big part of this was the hospitality of the BCH staff. We will definitely be going back on future trips and the club house will be our first choice when it comes to a place to stay.

The cycling soul of Bassano is here!

I don’t know any other place like this. It’s much more than a bike shop featuring exclusive Basso and BCH partner products. It also includes a stylish bar with a lovely terrace in the heart of downtown, a hotel, and a wide range of group rides and cycling events. You might think I’m being paid to say this, but I’m just a French guy who settled in Bassano, and this is honestly my favorite place ;)

The staff are friendly, welcoming, and highly professional. I highly recommend it—100%!

Highly recommended when visiting Bassano del Grappa.

Vielen vielen Dank für deine Hilfe, Feelo! Ich kam sehr spontan ohne Anmeldung mit meinem Gravelbike ins Geschäft, ursprünglich wegen eines platten Reifens. Dieser wurde innerhalb von 10 Minuten (für nur 10€) gewechselt. Da ich auch Probleme mit der Schaltung hatte (Campagnolo), schaute sich der Mechaniker das netterweise sehr ausführlich an (er sprach sogar deutsch 😊). Am Ende blieb mein Rad einige Tage dort und das Problem konnte direkt behoben werden. Hätte ich eher weiter gemusst, wäre das Rad sogar vermutlich noch schneller fertig gewesen. Insgesamt ein sehr hochwertiger Laden mit tollen Bikes, guter Werkstatt und einem sehr netten Team!!! Danke für eure Hilfe!

After being turned down by two other shops in Bassano
that morning, we rolled into the Bassano Club House near the famous bridge with a tough mechanical issue on a custom SRAM AXS / Hope caliper setup.

The mechanic by the name of Feelo, immediately got the urgency. He recognized that as bikepackers on a tight schedule, our whole tour was on the line over a very niche issue. After exhausting his local contacts trying to source specific parts on a Friday, he came up with a practical solution and swapped in a secondhand caliper just to get us back on the road.
His work completely saved the trip. The next day we successfully climbed Monte Grappa via the old mule tracks (*sentieri*) and descended safely into Alano di Piave with two working brakes rather than one—which is always nice 😁

On top of that during repairs, they let us store our second bike and the bags off the broken one safely at their clubhouse storeroom for the day so we could visit around the town unburdened, something tbat we did not even planned to do but hoped too.

Great mechanical problem-solving, excellent hospitality, and genuine empathy for riders in a jam. Highly recommended!

Dear Basso Club House Team,

I am writing to express my disappointment regarding our recent bike rental experience at Basso Club House in Bassano.

As Basso customers who specifically travelled from Dubai and made a point of visiting your Club House, we expected a professional experience that reflected the quality and reputation of the Basso brand. Unfortunately, our experience fell far below expectations.

The bikes provided were not in satisfactory condition. During our ride, we experienced continuous gear-skipping issues, which significantly impacted the quality of the ride. This was particularly disappointing given that we chose to rent directly from the Basso Club House.

In addition, we found the rental process unclear and, frankly, misleading. We were charged for an additional rental day, yet after checking the rental online, it appears that a 24-hour rental period allows the bike to be used multiple times within that period. This was not explained transparently at the time of rental.

Furthermore, a refund of €140 was supposed to be processed to my card. More than a week has now passed, and I have neither received the refund nor any communication regarding its status.

What makes this experience even more disappointing is that during the same trip, we rented two carbon bikes from a local independent bike shop. The bikes were in excellent condition, equipped with Shimano 105 Di2 electronic shifting which is basic, professionally fitted to us, and the staff were honest, transparent, helpful, and genuinely customer-focused.

By comparison, our experience at Basso Club House felt as though we were being done a favour rather than being valued customers of the brand.

I hope you will consider this feedback seriously as it does not reflect the premium image that Basso represents.

I had a great experience here! I am visiting from out of town and had some problems with my brake - the mechanic was so kind and fixed it the same day. The clubhouse also has many group rides posted on Strava.

The shop is located in a very cute plaza, and has a cozy seating area and terrace.

Locale accogliente e personale estremamente disponibile. Durante un giro in MTB ho rotto il cambio e, nonostante fosse un giorno festivo, il ragazzo dell’officina bici si è dimostrato davvero gentile e pronto ad aiutarmi, sistemando il cambio quel tanto che bastava per permettermi di rientrare a casa.

Ci tengo a ringraziarli di cuore per l’aiuto, soprattutto considerando che avevo ancora molta strada da percorrere. Consiglio vivamente questo posto!
