Wir haben zweimal mit Giovanni von Alcantara Bikes eine Tour gemacht und waren jedesmal begeistert.
Er kennt die Gegend wie seine Westentasche und kann zu allem nette und interessante Geschichten erzählen.
Wir sind die Etna und die Argimusco Tour mit ihm gefahren. Einfach toll.
Die zu leihen den E-Bikes sind einfach ausgestattet, funktionieren aber sehr gut und sind für E-Bikes erstaunlich leicht und intuitiv zu handeln.
Wenn wir wieder nach Sizilien kommen, und wir werden wieder kommen 😃, dann fahren wir sicher wieder mit Giovanni und Alcantara Bikes.

We had the pleasure of doing the Etna trip with Giovanni and enjoyed every second. He is extremely friendly, patient and knowledgeable of the area. We had the right amount of stops and an extremely scenic route. Would definitely recommend!

We (4 adults) booked an e-bike tour with Giovanni in the Alcantara valley and it was a superb experience. The route was a mix of asphalt and off-road / track which suited our level. It included a track along the river bed, quiet lanes past vineyards and through the pretty towns of Francavilla di Sicilia and to the castle at the top of Castiglione di Sicilia. Giovanni was a friendly and attentive guide and I would recommend a tour with him. Thanks G!

We waren met groepje van 4 voor de downhill Etna tour. En het was super. Giovanni was echt een hele fijne gids. De rit zelf was prachtig. Heel afwisselend qua terrein en natuur. Voor ons een absolute plus om Sicilië te leren kennen.

Esperienza fantastica!! Giovanni é stato bravissimo, paziente e super professionale. L’Etna tra i pineti, le antiche strade per raggiungere il vulcano, i rifugi, la discesa verso il mare passando in mezzo ai vigneti attraverso stradine segrete in mezzo al verde per poi ritrovarsi sul fiume Alkantara.. é stato magico! Consiglio veramente a tutti con un livello medio di esperienza in Mountain bike😊 da ripetere!! Alla prossima😊

What a amazing experience. Our guide Giovanni picked us up in Taormina and brought us to tbe top of Mount Etna. From there it was all downhill 😜 The trip was fantastic. We experienced this beautiful island with its nature and small towns. The trip was in our own pace. We could stop everywhere and rest or take pictures. Even on a hot day there was enough shadow from the forrest and wind to keep you cool. I woukd highly recommend this trip. Giovanni, thank you for a great day!

Giovanni was a great guide and the entire experience was perfect! We booked the Etna Private Tour, got a pick up and drop off in Taormina, spent 4 amazing hours biking and passed through beautiful sceneries. Definitely recommend!

We had an amazing mountain bike tour around Mount Etna! The guide was incredibly thoughtful and really took his time with those who needed a bit of extra support, without holding back the more experienced riders. It was the perfect balance, everyone felt comfortable and challenged at their own level. The scenery along the route was absolutely breathtaking. Riding through lava fields, forests, and open landscapes with panoramic views of the volcano made for an unforgettable experience. Highly recommended!

Hi everybody! We did a MTB tour on and around Etna with Giovanni and it was truly wonderful. We got picked up and dropped off by car right around the corner from where we were staying. Along the way the tour already started with guide info on the region from his girlfriend Andrea, she made us feel very welcome. We stopped and his father got us sandwiches for during the bike tour (not regular ones, they were true artisanal Italian delicious sandwiches). The bike tour was the right level of difficulty and giovanni rides on our tempo and level of skill and is very helpful and gives all the fun facts and information during the tour. He took us to the most beautiful places (and was smiling all the time because he loves Etna 🌞). Also the price is very good for the personal approach we received! A sincere thank you and five star recommendation to future tourists!

Such a perfect way to experience Etna and the nearby area! We started near the top of Etna and biked through lava fields. Then beautiful forest. Then on the road to beautiful villages. John made us feel safe and in control the entire time - "it's not my tour, it's yours 😁" highly recommend this trip to be a part of the amazing surroundings instead of just watching from a bus!

Esperienza sportiva ricca di emozioni palpitanti. Personalmente abbiamo affrontato la tratta dell’argimusco e malabotta che il buon Giovanni ci ha indicato sapientemente . Infatti abbiamo semplicemente noleggiato delle splendide E-MTB con le quali abbiamo affrontato l’intero percorso senza intoppi . Giovanni pur non avendo guidato l’escursione ha spiegato l’intero tracciato con dovizia e puntuale precisione. Invero, le puntuali indicazioni ci hanno consentito di percorrere una traccia lunga ben 57 km ritrovando tutti i riferimenti minuziosamente spiegati da Giovanni. Questo ci ha consentito di pedalare divertendoci e godendo delle splendide meraviglie che la terra di Sicilia offre in quella particolare zona . Esperienza indimenticabile .

Ho recentemente partecipato ad un'escursione con Alcantara Bikes e devo dire che è stata un'esperienza fantastica, unica nel suo genere!

Alcantara Bikes si occupa di escursioni con E-MTB nella valle dell'Alcantara e nei territori limitrofi, e il paesaggio che abbiamo visto è stato semplicemente mozzafiato.

Il nostro tour guide era molto esperto e ci ha portato lungo sentieri panoramici che non avrei mai scoperto da solo.
Le E-MTB erano di alta qualità e ci hanno permesso di affrontare anche le salite più impegnative senza troppa fatica.

Consiglio vivamente Alcantara Bikes a chiunque voglia scoprire la bellezza della valle dell'Alcantara in modo innovativo, attivo e divertente!
