We hired 2 gravel bikes for a couple days of riding around Siena and Chianti. Elizabeth was super helpful and responsive, and arranged delivery close to our accommodation in Siena. Lots of beautiful gravel trails and amazing autumn colours. Had a great long weekend, thanks Elizabeth!

Great bikes (2 road 1 electric MTB), really well serviced and good attention to detail when setting bikes up. Very flexible drop off and collection, giving us maximum ride time. Riding around Cortona really good, punchy climbs, quiet valleys, not much traffic and every where you get top coffee. Would book again! Thanks Elizabeth and Tuscany Bicycle.

On a recent trip to Florence, my family and I enjoyed an amazing bike and wine tour in Chianti (Gaiole/Siena area ) led by the our lovely and warm guide, Elizabeth. We soaked in the spectacular views as we rolled through the hills on our e bikes. Along the way, we made a quick pit stop and tour of Rietine24, an absolutley adorable B&B owned by a friend of Eliizabeths, again with breathtaking views...will definitely be looking into a future stay there!!! Its so cool!!! After a bit more cycling, we took a quick break at Barone Ricasoli estate wine store and bar for a cappucino and later in the tour savored a delectable lunch at the renowned Osteria di Castello accompanied by ( of course ) "Italian Gatorade"!!.. top to bottom, this was one of the highlights of our visit to Italy. We will definitely be back for future adventures. Thank you Elizabeth and Tuscany Bicycle Travel.

Renting a high-end gravel bike to tour various locations in Tuscany was at the top of my summer planning list. Tuscany Bicycle made it easy when they provided one of the few XL frames in the region and a 3T Exploro Racemax Rival bike. We did the fitting online, they delivered the bike to the villa I was renting with friends, installed the pedals, gave me a I lock and off I went. Whether I was on gravel roads around Lago Trasimeno or climbing to the hill town of Cortana, every day was made better because of the bike provides by Elizabeth and Tommaso. The food, scenery and weather were spectacular, but it was all made better because of Tuscany Bicycle. They have earned a great reputation and deserve it!

We hired 3 Scott Solace gravel E-bikes for a week in Tuscany. The bikes were almost new and faultless and the whole hire experience went well. Tuscany bicycle were in communication regularly and turned up to deliver/collect at the time they said. We highly recommend them and will use them again.

Wife and I live in the US, needed high quality road bikes for two weeks in Tuscany and Umbria. Tuscany Bikes definitely provided high quality bikes and service. They delivered in Umbria and picked up two weeks later in Tuscany. The bikes were great, performed perfectly. Elizabeth communicated well before we arrived in Italy, gave us confidence in her company. Her assistant arrived on time with bikes and installed our pedals & saddles. And made adjustments to insure a perfect fit. Two weeks of great cycling!
He also arrived on time to pick up the bikes two weeks later. Highly recommend this company!

Unforgettable E-Bike Tour Through Chianti with Tuscany Bicycle!

Today we took an e-bike tour of the Chianti region with Tuscany Bicycle, and it was nothing short of spectacular. Our guide, Elizabeth, made us feel instantly at ease, even though we hadn’t biked in years and had never used an e-bike before. After just a quick lesson, we were gliding through the Tuscan hills like kids again, comfortable, confident, and grinning from ear to ear.

The route itself was stunning, winding through vineyards, olive groves, and charming villages. One of the highlights was stopping for espresso at her friend’s house along the way, a warm authentic touch that made the experience feel deeply personal.

We also visited the incredible winery Rocca di Castagnoli, nestled in the heart of Chianti. The setting was breathtaking, and the wines were unforgettable. It was the perfect place to soak in the beauty of the region and savor its flavors.

Elizabeth’s knowledge of the region, its history, and especially its wines was incredible. Having her as our own personal sommelier was an unexpected bonus that elevated the entire tour. She shared insights about Italian wine and culture that we’ll be talking about for years.

If you’re considering a tour with Tuscany Bicycle, don’t hesitate. It’s more than just a bike ride, it’s a journey through the heart of Tuscany with someone who truly loves and understands it. Highly recommended and we’ll be back soon!

Super experience with Tuscany Bicycle rental.
First, they were very helpful in arranging the correct bike for me. I was originally leaning toward me high-end road bike, but appropriately suggested that I use a gravel bike based on the location of where we were staying.
I gave them my measurements, and the bike fit was almost perfect without any change except saddle height.
The 3T gravel bike was sturdy and perfect for the terrain and location (many gravel roads).
I only had time to do 40 or 50 km rides per day but the region's riding is sublime, especially if you like climbing. Strava maps are accurate and excellent, especially if you look at climbs and surfaces on a computer/ laptop.
I suggest sections of the L'Eroica (a bike ride in October) route, some pictures are from the course.
Elizabeth, you are the best!
Great people make for excellent service.

Wir hatten eine rundum tolle Erfahrung mit dem Fahrradverleih bei Tuscany Bicycle! Der Service war super freundlich, alles lief absolut unkompliziert ab. Die Preise waren fair und günstig, und Helme sowie Fahrradschlösser konnten wir ganz einfach dazumieten. Besonders hilfreich war auch die Karte mit Streckenempfehlungen, die wir direkt mitbekommen haben – so konnten wir die Region perfekt erkunden. Die Fahrräder waren in einem top Zustand – perfekt für unsere Tour durch die Toskana. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen und können Tuscany Bicycle nur weiterempfehlen!

Exceptional service and unforgettable experience!

We rented 3 bikes for a week from Tuscany Bicycle and had a fantastic experience from start to finish. The bikes were in excellent condition and perfect for exploring the beautiful Tuscan hills.

Hice reserva de una bici para 3 días. Pagué para que me lo traen noche antes me cambian la hora efectivamente un día de bici. La bici no fue revisado antes y tenía problemas con la tija, después un reparación tenía la bici. Fue una pinarello con ultegra que en papel debe que ser buen na bici pero por falta de ajuste y aceite en los cambios fue muy regular.
