Jon is possibly the nicest bicycle mechanic in the world. My brake pads wore out during the Transcontinental Race, and the pistons were stuck, so I couldn't push them back. I found Jon, and he immediately went to work and got me sorted out. He saved my race. I cannot recommend him enough!

We had a tire problem during the Tuscany trail that meant we were totally stuck in the middle nowhere, with no accommodation for the night and no options.

We called Jon - he had a positive cheerful attitude and within 30 mins he was at our location with a replacement tire. Not only that, as it was nightfall, he drove us to our accommodation afterwards. Went way above and beyond and saved our skin.

The man is an absolute legend.

John is an angel. We were on a bikepacking tour from Lake Garda to Rome when my wife's Bowden cable for the rear cassette broke about 20 kilometres from the village. Using cable ties, we were able to temporarily hold the gears in an acceptable gear so that we could manage the many hills. When we arrived in the village, we called John and 10 minutes later he was there. He changed the Bowden cable in no time at all and we were able to continue on our way. He also did the whole thing for a really fair price. You saved our tour, John. Thank you very much!

John è proprio un angelo!
Stavo facendo un tour con i miei amici lungo il percorso dell’Eroica quando mi si è rotto un raggio della ruota posteriore! Ho cercato le ciclofficine in zona Montalcino e ho chiamato convinto che, in una zona ad alta presenza di ciclisti, non ci sarebbe stato nessun problema a ricevere assistenza. Niente di più sbagliato! I cari meccanici TOSCANI mi hanno rimbalzato perché troppo impegnati!
Dopo altra ricerca trovo il numero di questa Ciclofficina Mobile Hobson…. Mi risponde un gentilissimo John con il quale prendo appuntamento per la mattina dopo lungo la strada che porta da Montalcino a Buonconvento. John è arrivato con il suo furgone e in poco tempo mi ha sistemato la bici e mi ha messo in strada.
Gentile, cordiale, professionale, serio è un vero appassionato di bici!
